Hey everyone! I have a new series called Player spotlight in which I ask a member of the community if they would like to share a bit about themselves so that the community can get a voice behind the gamer tag, and perhaps learn a little about the player as well as learn something new about the game through others opinions and ideas. I would like to thank CHICAGOCUBS4EVER for allowing me to to do this, and perhaps you will appreciate it as well. I will be asking random players in the community if they would like to participate, and will go from there. I hope everybody enjoys the series and thanks alot!

Low you should pop on the forums before and get the community to submit questions for the interview. |

That's what I liked about the interview so much how down to earth CHICAGOCUBS4EVER was during it. Yeah Im #1 in the world no big deal. I wonder if he's going to stay as a Heavy post Uprising???? |

Pretty cool, man. I like the idea - keep it up, please. It's nice to hear what the players have to say, especially those that have been around a long time and are a well known in-game.
It's always especially great when someone with some presence and skill is also a cool person, and not some cocky tool-unit. My hat's off to all those folks. |

Had the privilege of playing against him and some teamplayers in a couple of games last night. The games were close, though I will be frank, I died a lot... I mean terrible, at least I'm a logi and can use that as my krutch :P |

I was in a pub match on Cubs' side a few days ago, and recognizing him from the leaderboards, decided to follow for a bit to see how he does it. Absolutely confirmed what he says in interview...not afraid to die. As a result, he moves very aggressively, and it pays off more often than not.
That's a lesson about the game in general that I've been learning lately, When I just wear free milita suits, I'm not as hesitant as I am in my ISK suits, and I end up getting a lot more kills that way, because I'm willing to take chances. Seems to be Cubs' mindset no matter what.

Great player, no doubt. I always like seeing Cubs and Teamplayers in the pubs. These are the types of dudes that don't AFK and you want to see on your side during a match.
And if they're on the other side, you know you'll have a doozy of a competitive game.

it'll happen... just as I said im not invincible and honestly don't care about k/d. I care about winning, and me bum rushing the pile forces the other team to focus on me, giving me teammates the opportunity to take them down.
If I go down in the process, so be it. I run type-II suits whenever possible, although I'll admit that's becoming less and less as of late as that setup just doesn't compete vs a bunch of protos on the other side.
but just like maple... I'm a bit of a hermit when it comes to the ISK game, and even though there are certain maps I always use my boundless and a B series, I rarely use proto suits.
Call out a tank though and it wont survive (MOST the time... the few of you that have survived know who you are  )
thank you hitman for the opportunity for this. Had a great time and enjoyed maple's spotlight as well!

Man, these are really cool, man.
The in-game action is awesome. I don't see many of the top corp players during my shift, so this gives me a chance to see who I'm gunning for.
As a Shotgunner - you know I'm gonna +1 a jam with Calamity and/or Annie. (From what I've heard, you may have to skill into Scouts just to keep up with them)

I thought they were dudes?
Oakley is another kitten that ruins my k/d ratio on a weekly basis. And they ALWAYS PUT ME ON THE OPPOSITE TEAM AS THEM.
At least they put me on the same team as Chicago and the other team players once in awhile. |

Honestly,I would do one with jane in a heartbeat. I have been on the recieving end of that shotgun too many times.
