Since last downtime I have not been able to enter battle in any mode unless in a squad lead by someone in the US or UK. I'm in New Zealand. What's going on? Any fix for this? |

I am writing to you today to express my dislike for this new feature. It seems like a pointless way to showcase your sexy respawn graphics.
Instead of booting me out of a match before i get a chance to actually get into a match, perhaps you might look into allowing me to participate in a match now and again, as I am sure i will like your battles and combat system much better than the merc quarters and respawn graphics.

When league of legends has situations like this, the have a special button. My understanding is that when they push it, among other things, any boosters you have active are paused. That seems fair to me. I've wasted a lot of time tonight not getting into matches because on the rare occasion it works. Just enough to tease me into wasting time. Not enough to actually get anywhere. |

I've been trying all night to get a game. Of course, connecting to a euro server makes for a deeply unsatisfying game due to 500ms+ latency. |

IT cannot be.
I was able to get into battles this morning until i started a squad and loaded contacts. Once I did that I could not enter battle solo or in a squad lead by myself. I can enter battle if in a squad lead by someone in the UK or the US.
I reset the PS3 and things wenyt back to 'normal'.
We retested the theory that starting a squad would cause the black screen to happen... and it did.
I reset the PS3.
Now i cannot enter battle by myslef at all.
WTF!!! |

Still experiencing this problem today. I'm in NZ.
I couldn't get into any matches yesterday, managed to get into one Ambush game this morning on my own. Squaded up with Whiskeyjack during that match, afterwards neither of us could load any matches as Squad Leader. Promoted a based UK squad member to the leader position and he had no problems loading us a match?

Also having this problem since last night, Auckland, New Zealand.
I can get one match then it won't let me back in as people have described (black screen). Turning off/on my PS3 makes it work again, for one game then its black screen again.
One would assume the problem will fix itself once the servers are reset? |

Yep, same problem here, Central QLD Coast region. Been fighting the black screen all morning just to get my 5 for the event in. Here's hoping something get's better in tonight's DT.
Really hard and frustrating trying to do the event, I can only imagine how old mate up there feels with the Corp Battle, that sucks hard. Sorry to hear that man. :( |

I've been getting this as well for the last 2 days, get the lost connection to host message whenever i try to queue for ambush, skirmish it doesn't happen on quite as much though for the first day none of it would work, atm only way i can play ambush is to queue with my american/euro corpmates.
Seems to be an oceanic problem Im playing from Adelaide, Australia. |

No I am not absolutely bitter, I understand technical limitations, just as much as I am sure that Players on your staff roster will understand the frustration of being a situation whereby an entire region "your own", is locked out of not just an event, but almost the entirety of a games content.... "oh hey i can look at menu's, chat a bit, and stare at my skills page... but i cannot play the actual game."
Players from AU and NZ have spoken up about this issue now. It is HIGHLY improbable that we are all operating off of the same ISP.
For clarity I will proffer my ISP: iinet

Mine is Aussie Broadband, though I believe they use telstra's network. I think iiNet uses telstra for some of its network, but not ADSL2, though I don't know for sure.
I have no idea if Telstra has a presence in NZ. |

I don't see how resetting the game every match to be able to play is the ISP's fault? Sounds more like the game to me. I don't need to restart ps3 or router just the game.
Managed two games in a row just before thought it had come right but no Back in Black! |

Same issue here in NZ, frequent disconnects from Merc Quarters and unable to join matches.
Orcon is my ISP. Just a standard broadband connection, 7mbps down and 1mbps up.
Done the modem restart and all the usual bits for basic troubleshooting.
No other internet services seem to be affected, email, web browsing, music and video streams from the US all okay.
Not really that surprising that TSOLE is affected so bad, considering our merc base is mostly from the AU/NZ region.
Fellow TSOLE Mercs, don't be too harsh, the problem is quite possibly outside the CCP Wizards control.

I'm having the same problem.
I try to join a game (not in a squad).
Screen goes black.
Sometimes I can hear people on voice coms.
Back in merc quarters with the message "lost connection to host".
Sceen goes black for a moment again.
Back in merc quarters.
At one point I did manage to get into an Ambush OMS (everything seemed to be fine) but afterwards things were broken again.
Squading up with US guys works fine. |

You aren't missing it. They said that it happens after the DT tonight, at the same time the SP cap usually resets each week. |

I have just received word that this server issue is fixed and now things should work. I am, however, not in a position to test right now -- but I thought you may like to know. I'd be interested to know if your experience matches up. |

Confirmed that matches are able to be logged in again! If experiencing difficulties, try restarting your PS3. If still, report back here again.

Im from South Africa , been playing dust since ccp moved dust514 to tranquillity and I never had connection problems. I don't think the problem lies with the uprising build since I have been playing Eve for the last 4 years and always had connection problems this time of the year. Unfortunately this goes on for a few months then somehow gets resolved till this time next year hits.
I bought a ps just for dust and ploughed in everything to be competitive .....this however I cant fix.
CCP this is a real problem for us Southerners I hope you guys can help us
