My sharpshooter skill is level 3, not too high but not to low to take advantage of middle range combat. I will however increase it to level 4 because sometimes I feel I'm not at optimal range in most situations. Either way, I thought a lot about going armor, and I reveal my plan so you guys let me know if it's good. I haven't yet tested it btw. BEHOLD:
-Start with a type-2 scout equipped with flux drop uplink and triage nanohive. Get to a high place as fast as possible, set up uplink and nanohives, suicide.
-Spawn as an A-series assault equipped with:
-2 complex armor plates, for +400 armor HP. Speed is not important when using a LR, since most combat is medium to long ranged.
-Complex damage mods. I don't know the number of how many I can equip, but these are secondary, meaning that I equip them as long as CPU is available.
-Basic LR. Low CPU will not let me equip a Viziam.
-Toxin SMG
-Quantum Nanohive. This is the most important item after the plates. This gives me enough ammo at a good rate.
Basic idea is that my armor keeps repaired without the need of a logibro thanks to the triage nanohives. This plan also works when using a heavy dropsuit for even more armor HP. Use:
-Logi type-1 for setting up uplink and ammo and triage nanohives.
-Heavy A-series with 2 complex plates and damage mods. Viziam or Basic LR.
This is good and bad. First off I would recommend using this set up with the Vk 0 dropsuit because of a few different reasons. Number 1. you could fit two or three complex plates on, and use the remaining low slot(s) for CPU or PG upgrades, you would then fit advanced level armor repair nanohives (the ones that do ammo and armor) as your equipment. Now you should be able to fit a viziam and atleast the two damage mods (maybe even a third). And then go from there. This suit is only effective if you put yourself high up where the enemy cant reach you, and remain vigilant. If your on the ground all it would take is one LAV to drive up to you and you would be screwed because 1.) they would run you over, or 2.) they would out strafe you. |
