i use a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 GE, its good but not as good as bacon |

I would go with the Hauppauge PVR. I recently picked one up from Best Buy for $160. It's fairly easy to set up and it recrds nice footage. It comes with a basic editing program. If you want to do fancy editing then you will need to buy a different editing software. The Roxio device |

Stop by the smithsonian and grab yourself a VCR, just remember to record on EP not SP so your tape can stack more footage on it |

I use the Hauppauge HD PVR 2 it takes great video with no lag but it can be touchy at times ie sometimes I have to reboot everything. Example Video

I got it, Works great, good quality and by using a HDMI splitter 1 to 2 you can play in 1080p and record in 720p. I would recommend it. |
