Okay, I cannot stand dropping vehicles down only to find someone else jump in and drive off in it. I even try to spam the O button, but what happens is because I am spamming, I usually get in and leave fast and the other person just steals it. Does this happen with vehicles that people actually spend isk on? This seems to be a problem. |

You know what would be kind of cool? If for vehicles they had it so that if you are around the general vicinity but not inside the vehicle they make you petition for access to the vehicle. For example if I'm Joe schmo and i see a LAV fall in front of me and try to circle my way in it ask for permission in the form of a single button press validation thingy so the other person sees that someone else wants to use it and can give quick permission if they do so please (I don't know just all an Idea I had). All in all it really should be a common courtesy thing. |

People shouldn't be allowed to drive vehicles they aren't skilled for. |

Perhaps they could give you two options when you "call" a vehicle. One option leaves it open to anyone (as per current usage), the second locks it to squad members of the person who called it. |

I think it should be locked to the squad members by default, or the player who called it in if he's not in a squad. Assets are too expensive, so the strictest measures need to be in place. |

Thats right. I have the keys for that tank I just called. This isn't some hippy commune where you can just borrow my vehicle, crash it, and be like "no, bro, its all good".
Its not all good. Thats my tank you just jacked. Bro. |

I don't know why I seem to think there are tanks just laying around hippie communes, but you get my point |

I don't get who does this kind of stuff. Must be the newberries that don't have a clue how much those tanks cost, and haven't been on the forums to see how many tank drivers want them to burn in the bowels of hell for their sins. They just think this is BF where tanks just spawn out of no where. I've never driven a tank, but considering the amount of sp and isk they cost, I feels ya bro |

Even in bf, you go to trouble of getting that Ifv all nice and protected to give your team a safe spawn spot within ready attacking distance of the mcom/checkpoint, keep it repaired and protected, and what inevitably happens? Some doofus that can't keep it in good pants jumps in, drives it right through the main way, and right over some tank mines. And the test of the team then gets to enjoy that 500m hike from your starting point. The point is you can't fix stupid, you can only figure out ways to mitigate the damage stupid causes your team |
