So I've been getting hugely reduced ISK rewards and marginally reduced SP. Even coming top of the board is giving only slight improvements from coming sixth netting me 120k to coming top being 160k. I was getting much more before, especially coming top where I would receive 300k +

Not sure, Ive had some good payouts. I think its due to people running much cheaper gear since PC hits in 3 weeks. |

Thanks, I know that often I do have terrible matches. However, your point does not explain why my rewards have lessened whilst my skill as a player has stayed the same. |

It's not just about your "rank," but how much SP you got and how much ISK you destroyed.
call in a few free LAV's and run over a few enemies. The red dots will monkey see you and do the same. run with packed AV nades and you just increased your ISK rewards by a lot. |

I've been seeing more advanced dudes than before actually, seems very strange. My point is not that I'm not earning enough though, it's that my rewards have decreased. Yesterday I was doing well, 10/2's and the like. Today I was doing terribly, 5/3 and often worse but my payouts have been the same today as they were yesterday... |

The ISK payouts are based on a bunch of different factors which include:
How long were you in the match? 10 min will net more ISK than 5 minutes What was destroyed? A match using nothing with Militia items nets less ISK than a match with say all advanced items What was your finishing place? First place gets more ISK than last place
There's other things too that contribute, but you get the idea. The smaller payouts are probably due to the fact that PC is out in ~3 weeks, and people are running cheaper gear to save up due to SP reset and new skill books. my guess is after may 6, you'll start seeing the higher numbers again. People are just being cautious ATM. |

You should clarify ambush or skirmish. For ambush you will get around 300k. Although I went 28/1 yesterday and still got 270k. You also need to invest several million SP into tanking skills, and losing a tank is very cosly. |

You need to fight better players with more expensive suits. SP is based on how long games take and how well you do, so you're either not doing well or your entire team is killing a lot faster and taking your kills, reducing WP gain and making the games end faster.
Heres my theory on how ISK division is.
Every time you kill a player, their value (Or a percentage of it) is added to a pot, I'm currently under the impression is near enough 100% value. Now, no matter what, everything has a value, BPOs match their actual price, so you could have BPO militia gear, but it matches the same price as the ISK BPCs.
Now, let's say you kill all 80 players, and their total amount of worth is 800k (10k per suit), that's 800k split between 16 players, 50k ISK, now ofcourse that's very cheap but no team runs just 10k suits, they run expensive ones, they also call vehicles in but let's say it was 800k total.
Now it's divided based on WP (Ever notice, you get slightly higher than a squad mate in WP, you'll get more cash), and it's sort of like shares in a company, the higher percentage of WPs you have, the higher dividend you get as pay.
Now this is just a theory but it makes sense. I also believe there may be a base amount of cash given out to each player, theres been games where I'll sit around with 0 WP but still get 100k ISK.

They really should give payouts commensurate to their ISK equivalency value. I wonder if that would stop people from using them or if they would start using them more often. |

How do we know they do not? I see a lot of Aurum Suits running around, I still get 300-400k a match. |

TBH, IDK, though if they don't they should.
Either way, I'd really like to see an Official Math Formula on how it is calculated. |

They have already told us how ISK is payed out.. during closed and open beta, they have stated how ISK is payed out at the end of a match. in fact (Dec. 2012): https://dust514.com/news/blog/2012/12/war-and-profit/
Quote: A portion of the reward pool for each battle depends on the value of items destroyed in the battle. If the battle saw countless vehicles and expensive prototype gear destroyed, everyone is in for bigger rewards. ISK rewards are calculated as follows for each participant:
Base rewards GÇô Every mercenary receives basic compensation for each battle they fight. The size of the reward depends on the time you spent fighting, so joining a battle late will net you lower earnings. Value of objects destroyed in battle has no bearing on this part of the reward.
Team rewards GÇô The total rewards calculated from the value destroyed are split between the participating teams, with the winning team earning a larger share. Then, each participant earns a cut of the total rewards that their team received based on the time they spent in the battle. If youGÇÖre late to the party, youGÇÖll earn a smaller cut.
Individual rewards GÇô Finally, every participant receives a reward based on their individual contribution on the battlefield. Mercs earn war points based on their actions in the course of each battle, and the more war points you score, the higher your cut of the total payout.
They have on several occasions explained how ISK rewards are payed out. It's no secret how the ISK is payed out. The only thing that has changed is how much ISK (has gone up and down during beta) is actually given out. There is no speculation or guessing, it's already stated how it works. |

They haven't given - and won't give - hard numbers, because the numbers are being changed. |

but when they do change those ISK numbers, they do tell us. and they can't give you an actual hard number because those numbers are also dynamic. There is no 1 single number. it's a mixture of numbers to get your reward.
I can go into battle A and get a 300k payout, where as in battle B it is a 100k payout. Difference could be in gear lost, how long I was in battle, etc... there are a varying range of ways your ISK payout can be altered. |

Base payout: 100 per second spent in-game - paid to each individual on completion of contract.
Team rewards: Total ISK value of items destroyed goes into the pot. 60% to winners, 40% to losers, individual payouts adjusted for time spent in-game.
Individual rewards: 1000 ISK per WP.
Obviously, I just pulled those numbers out of nowhere, but they could break it down like that. They haven't, they don't, and they probably won't, because they're still adjusting these values to find a fair and balaned level. Also, when they change things, all they're currently saying is that the values of changed, NOT what they were, or what they are now. |
