The ISK payouts are based on a bunch of different factors which include:
How long were you in the match? 10 min will net more ISK than 5 minutes What was destroyed? A match using nothing with Militia items nets less ISK than a match with say all advanced items What was your finishing place? First place gets more ISK than last place
There's other things too that contribute, but you get the idea. The smaller payouts are probably due to the fact that PC is out in ~3 weeks, and people are running cheaper gear to save up due to SP reset and new skill books. my guess is after may 6, you'll start seeing the higher numbers again. People are just being cautious ATM. |

They have already told us how ISK is payed out.. during closed and open beta, they have stated how ISK is payed out at the end of a match. in fact (Dec. 2012): https://dust514.com/news/blog/2012/12/war-and-profit/
Quote: A portion of the reward pool for each battle depends on the value of items destroyed in the battle. If the battle saw countless vehicles and expensive prototype gear destroyed, everyone is in for bigger rewards. ISK rewards are calculated as follows for each participant:
Base rewards GÇô Every mercenary receives basic compensation for each battle they fight. The size of the reward depends on the time you spent fighting, so joining a battle late will net you lower earnings. Value of objects destroyed in battle has no bearing on this part of the reward.
Team rewards GÇô The total rewards calculated from the value destroyed are split between the participating teams, with the winning team earning a larger share. Then, each participant earns a cut of the total rewards that their team received based on the time they spent in the battle. If youGÇÖre late to the party, youGÇÖll earn a smaller cut.
Individual rewards GÇô Finally, every participant receives a reward based on their individual contribution on the battlefield. Mercs earn war points based on their actions in the course of each battle, and the more war points you score, the higher your cut of the total payout.
They have on several occasions explained how ISK rewards are payed out. It's no secret how the ISK is payed out. The only thing that has changed is how much ISK (has gone up and down during beta) is actually given out. There is no speculation or guessing, it's already stated how it works. |

but when they do change those ISK numbers, they do tell us. and they can't give you an actual hard number because those numbers are also dynamic. There is no 1 single number. it's a mixture of numbers to get your reward.
I can go into battle A and get a 300k payout, where as in battle B it is a 100k payout. Difference could be in gear lost, how long I was in battle, etc... there are a varying range of ways your ISK payout can be altered. |
