From what I've heard (don't own one myself), they do have (slightly) better PG/CPU stats than the ISK equivalents - at least on the tanks.
That makes them just as pay-to-win as the 'Broadside' HMG used to be when it had reduced PG/CPU cost compared with the ISK version, and that got fixed.
If this is true, it should also be fixed. |

Put it this way if you are a character who has a minimum points into armor (I believe it's level 3 in it) you can have a beast madruger build that would normally require 4+ million skill points. So now every heavy in the game can now pull out a top end tank without having to spend an additional skill points... Sure most of these AUR tanks blow up easy because they are either fit out wrong, however now everytime i play this game i have to deal with 3-4 aurum tanks on the field every game I play.
It also makes actually skilling into tank something only a ****** would do because In all honesty the Surya and Sargaris are not a huge upgrade to the Madruger and the Gunloggi, and you get the best turret in the game. So anyone speccing into tanks just pidgeons holes themselves into being useless doing anything else and a random player can easily match up against their tank. |

Pretty much this....just for the sole reason that the ppl spending the AUR on these more often than not dont have the required skils to fit proper modules to make a decent fit.
AUR tanks are the same as any other AUR gear dont see why tankers should be left out when infantry can get suits earlier
thats all it comes down to....gettin stuff a little earlier
lvl 3 for proto turrets? LOL its not even the best proto turret its like 4dmg points higher than an adv blaster and the AUR proto rail is the **** ver not the compressed
so really when u look at it those AUR tanks even if they using the AUR turret isnt really anything special. |

that's for the tanks in the assault pack which is basically empowered militia tanks and we all those are still pretty easy kills. the AUR ones are the same as the ISK ones so no its not pay to win. plus the AUR turrets require level 4(x type) small plus level 3 (x type) large turret skills plus the 1level turret operation so it like all the rest of the AUR proto weapons requires some skill as the isk version but not the same amount. point being is don't complain if you don't know anything about them just they are AUR as you look like a fool that no one wants to hear from. |

Clearly you don't know about the real P2W stuff on the market.
I'm not saying these turrets and vehicles are, because I know the turrets are not, but the tank hulls might be if the stats are not equal.
However, there are other items that are clearly P2W, because they do not offer early access, but rather better(lower) fitting reqs.
So yes, these tanks are not P2W, but there are other items of that type in the market. So do not be surprised to see that extend into vehicle modules after the 6th. |

Even if everyone already knows this, im just going to remind OP...
P2W Games = Get total (Or mayorital) advantage over other players by paying to ingame stuff. The stuff needs to be a total advantage bullshit over regular stuff and can only be aquired by wasting your money.
Dust 514 = Pay to get Aurum = Getting good stuff that anyone can get just that faster.
And about the Aurum tanks... They go down faster than an LAV.

These guys spouting pay to win pay to win are so clueless. They themselves have probably blown a lot of isk on incorrectly skilled items and died to many times too everyone and the only thing they can complain about are Aur items.
Balance is one thing, but for every Aur (proto/adv) there is an ISk ver. one tier higher. Aur items allows people who don't have as much time to use Proto/Adv Aur items so that they can hopefully compete with people whom has a lot of time, SP, and Isk.
