After seeing a Logi'Bro' try fail revive me twice I felt the need to post this here.
#1. If you see a friendly that needs reviving, make sure you know how he died and where the enemy shot him from (This will come in handy later). #2. If you feel it is safe, run to revive him. #3. Revive the friendly, then, stand in front of the bullets for him and return fire, you dont have to hit, you just have to supress the enemy (This is why the EC-3 MD is my weapon of choice for Logibro-ing), chances are, you can tank much more damage than him.
Hopefully, some Logibros will see this and start using this tactic.
Before someone says "I'm risking my fit standing in front of him, so I'm not doing that!", chances are, if there is such a high risk in reviving said teammate you shouldn't try to do so in the first place.
Example; If he was killed by a Thales, Blaster Tank or was destroyed by multiple snipers, you should just leave him be. Trying to revive someone killed under these situations would result to (Most likely) both players being killed. |

These days, I'd say its less the logibros fault and more the person getting revived if one or both die in the revive attempt.
Why?

Also, if you run with an armor fatty, do us both a solid and invest some SP into better injectors.
When you rez me with 280 or so HP, I go down super quick the second time, because the enemy is licking their chops for the chance.
When you rez me with 750 armor, the enemy normally doesn't have enough rounds left in their magazine to kill me the second time.
Also, once you rez fatty, no one is shooting at you anymore. |

Okay.
Guide to being revived:
1. Be grateful that someone on your team decided to put themselves at risk at all to pick you up. 2. If they are not in your squad, be doubly grateful. 3. Don't cry when you're occasionally shot after being picked up.* 4. If your KDR means so much to you that the risk of being shot again is more important than the value of your fitting, then press circle to respawn. 5. If you do 4, don't wait until someone has put themselves at risk to run out to revive you.
*There is no way to ensure that a pick up target is not in the sights of a red dot or that there isn't a red squad just around the corner. It happens.
That about covers it. |

There are bad revives and stupid revives.
Bad revives are mostly accidents how was i supposed to know that the red dot was right there watching and waiting.
Stupid revives are when you see a teammate get killed by a sniper and proceed to try to revive. |

Stupid revives are when you see a teammate get killed by a sniper and proceed to try to revive. Well, let me just point out the unpopular truth. Reviving someone who is immediately shot down again, is still a bonus for your team, especially if the reviving squad is using squad objectives.
If you don't want revived, then release, otherwise be happy for any attention, and move once you're rezzed.
Also, assaults can carry nano injectors too - start. |

I'v heard about The Slide many posts ago. I constantly try to perform it to not waste some teamlogi's work. But it seems not being here with us anymore... Any suggestions?
I hold L3 and push in the desired directon. Or should I press it once and then push in directon? |

See this is what upsets me as a logi. If you got sniped, then just press o and respawn. If your on the other side of a container how do I know you got sniped? I'm here to revive people, not preserve your KDR. Mercs don't realize they make the decision to pick up not me. If you feel your position is compromised then jam O right when you go down. Also in Ambush I will always revive, especially when a sniper or any merc is dumb enough to keep killing the revived player. This is a tactic to win. If your killing the revived player, we are not losing a clone from our clone count and the sniper or other merc is not killing another player or me.
I took an oath as a doctah of New Eden to save all lives that I have the ability to save.
Also stop running away when I'm repping you so we don't have to go through this whole revive thing in the first place. |

The slide works you have to do it right when you hear the nanite injector sound. Use that as your audio queue and just keep trying. I believe you can only go forward, but i'm not sure, it is definitely still in the game though. |

They literally have no health and barely enough shield to tank 1 AR bullet, and they rush out to the front before I can heal them. And then some people have the nerve to complain when the Logi isn't coming out there to heal them on team chat. |
