So... is there going to be MAVs? Because, in one of the loading screens some info like: a half full square saying medium vehicle. They probably will medium turrets and a lot of room for infantry like IFVs or APCs. |

While I do look forward to the inclusion of MTAC's, I really hope that there is also some form of ground-based MAV like an APC.
Something that splits the difference between LAVs and HAVs for base speed and EHP, maybe give it the ability to fit several light turrets and a Mobile CRU, maybe some sort of mobile Supply Depot functionality too. |

HATT (Heavy Armored Troop Transport) armored troop transport looks like a dropship kinda but on the ground with massive treads has much better armor and moves slow and has like 4 turrets 8 places for people to sit and bay doors you can lower and raise and you can shoot out of i would best describe it as a metal caterpillar :) no militia variant and has like standard armored type is 6000HP and 500HP armor but not a whole lot of speed or inventory slots only some turrets on it and stuff :) |

Isnt there going to be mobile CRUs? These could easily fill the role of a MAV. Heavily armored, little or likely zero offensive capabilites. Hell mobile supply depots would be awesome too. These two vehicles would make the game way more dynamic and fun IMO.
Imagine a squad setting up a nice little forward attack base near an enemy with a mobile CRU? Then once some ground has been gained you bring in a mobile supply depot so the attack can adapt to what the enemy is bringing in, a few HMGs, some AV, maybe counter snipers. Fun times.
It would also stop tanks from being able to gimp the heck out of AV the entire match by taking out supply depots first thing. Cause I can just bring ina mobile depot, hide it, and then use it to swap into AV when need be. |

MAV's, if they fill a support role, will be outshone by dropships. Dropships will not only have more mobility, but more survivability. Those two are actually linked.
Imagine an MAV being hit by a FG. A proto FG, with complex damage mods backing it up. MAVs won't be able to tank more than a HAV, so will be fairly vulnerable when faced with proper AV, and since it's ground-based, it would be destroyed fairly quickly.
Dropships don't have this problem, and they can fit a CRU on board. This means a squad can spawn in it en route to an objective. Admittedly, the mobile supply depot isn't quite there for a DS.
A logi LAV, I think, has the option of being a mobile supply depot (correct me if I'm wrong).
Also, when installations come in, I think we'll be able to call in a CRU/supply depot where ever it's needed. |

I think the Logi LAVs use vehicle triege modules (Caldari = Sheild transportation, gellante = Armor repair system). |

You guys are both wrong about logi LAVs. They can fit a CRU, but there is no supply depot that I've seen that is mobile or vehicle mounted. Also, their repair tool that is native to the LAV is broken. A transport and remote shield repairer can be fit to any vehicle if it can manage the CPU or PG. These tools are vehicle only for now, but the native logi lav tool is supposed to work on dropsuits. |

I know LAVs can carry them, I was reffaring to the starter modules when you create the fit. |
