I know there's a similar thread somewhere, but it got buried. So, everyone writes one crazy/ridiculous idea they have for Dust in each of their posts here. I'll start:
Change the barrel of the laser rifle to a Shoop Da Whoop face, and change the sound of the beam to "IMMA FIRIN MA LAZOR! BLAAAARRGH!". |

An anti-tank LAV that is extremely cheap, has speed equal to a normal LAV with an afterburner, can't fit any modules other than the built-in warp drive it already has (because no kill like overkill), takes zero damage from collisions, and deals 10x times normal collision damage to anything it collides with. |

A mini-gun module for an HMG. ADS triggers a smaller secondary Gatling-style MG attached above the HMG.
A super class that has a helicopter back pack that can be used to access any vantage point.
Oh, and the craziest of them all:
A buff to the collision detection that doesn't deal AOE damage when you stumble down/up a small hill/rock outcropping. |

Every time a squad leader dies, an orbital gets dropped on his/her position.
...wait, that might actually be useful.
Also, every time anyone dies, all the explosives (grenades, MD rounds, missiles, remotes, whatever) they're carrying go off all at once. |

An UNstable repair tool that has a 5% chance of miraculously instantly repairing and temporarily doubling my target's (and my) armor for a few seconds, but also has a 5% chance of blowing up in my face and killing me, while simultaneously sucking the armor off the merc I was trying to repair, leaving them with only whatever shields they had.
Sounds like a prototype, of course... |
