It would be nice to have a nice training area so one could learn how to fly these things. It's not the easiest or most intuitive thing in the world.
And I don't need the "Harden Up" or "That's the way it is in New Eden" speech from the EVE geeks in the crowd either. What I and likeminded others will do is take our interests, and my money and support, elsewhere if a game's mechanics are too annoying and the developers are too full of themselves and their creation to change.
Well CCP has mentioned AI / NPC targets that easily appears as a co-op mode but idk how it fits in the game so I guess its an off EVE, maybe a place where you can play for fun and learn how do use your gear
Anyways though, join the: better hide r die public chatroom and next time we are both on I`ll teach you how to fly via mic and I`ll supply the Dropships, once you get good I`ll get you the Dropships I use that range from 700k-1 mill ISK and you can see if piloting is worth investing in (well, in the long run when pilots get the deserved ammount of SP). |

the idea behind it is to create corporation alts that make a 2nd corp, like i would use my alt Shouper 2273 to creat [BHD2] and have some of my fellow clan mates do the same and join [BHD2], once that is done we just do a [BHD] vs [BHD2] and its good practice, as for setting it up I could explain it but their are videos that will give a better example on how to creat them, I`ll try to get you a link.... (it will appear in an EDIT to this messege).... |

What builds character and skill is effort rewarded and the opportunity to engage in learning. It is a childs mind that thinks suffering builds character. Suffering causes distress and disappointment. We should reward those who make an effort to learn, or demonstrate a willingness to try; not punish or frustrate them. There is no valid argument against providing an environment where players can learn how the game functions. This is an industry standard, one EVE shares. This is because games need to be more enjoyable than not and as consumer products meet or exceed the customers satisfaction with them. A game that has high cost items some purchased with real money needs to show you how they work. This is fair. +1 i applaud you good sir Daedric Lothar wrote: I was playing Planetside 2 in the training area and crashed about 8 Reavers in about 4 minutes trying to get my mouse sensitivity correct and thinking about using keyboard instead of mouse and switching back. Then I lost another 4 trying to fly under overpasses then I lost another 5 dogfigthing and crashing. I'd say I finished losing about 20 of them before I got the hang of it. (Yea thats bad, but normally I don't play flight sims)
so in about 4 hours I would have blown about 3 million isk. Thats a pretty big chunk for any newbies.
3 million? D:< 3 MILLION?!? BULLKITTEN
In four hours, losing a fully equipped myrons at 490k ISK; Thats close to a billion isk, and i only have barely 1/10th of that amount.
hes talking about militia fits, more specificly the cost for a newb trying to learn how to fly., my Myron costs like 700k and my Eahyx is a mill so yea, I`m not happer either when I crash in a ship thats expensive and has little to no rewards beside being very fun. |
