My brother and I have been trying out dropships recently, and although we are pretty effective at taking out infantry we are still unable to effectively battle tanks. I've heard a couple people on here talking about how a good dropship can destroy tanks, I'm wondering what fittings you guys are using to do that. |

Militia dropship
Non special pilot
Equip Advanced Heavy Suit
2x Complex Damage Mods
Ishukone Assault Forge
Packed AV grenade(ADV flux for shield tanks)
2x Armor plate(best you have)
Have non special education pilot fly you around the map and rush the tank from behind. Drop out, administer 2 AV or flux grenades for standard tanks, three for advanced tanks and shoot them in the ass.
No more tank. |

I suppose that means I should be upgrading my missiles then. It's really a shame the small rail guns are so bad at AV. |

yeah the things suck, bojo the mighty did some testing on them and apparently the efficiency of them against vehicles never went above 30%, which is stupid cause their an AV weapon. |

Cycled and Accalirated are the best at the time, 1-2 damage mods are adviced and 3 L Azotipcs on a Myron if you want to do more then just defeat the tank or if you think he will get a few shots on you. Use cover and then ambush him flying directly above, make sure you have a good gunner and don`t trust the blu berrys, a good gunner can defeat a Madruager with proto vheicle gear (atleast the proto to what is aviable now) using 1 Scattered ION blaster. and remember to move with the tank and stay above it, best to hold of an ambush till he is in rockier terrain or out of table top like structures. (note if he is in open land he can move back and forwards quickly and get you in his sights).
the reason why the pilots and everyobne else are suggesting missles rather then railguns (railguns being the AV turrets while missles be the meduim) is becuse the S railgun turrets are UP and are being buffed on may 6th (the S missle turrets are being changes aswell as the L missle turrets are being changed/ buffed, idk in wich balance diecting if any the S missle turets are going). |

I should also add, yes upgrade missle turrets this build but on May 6th look in the forums to see if AV gunners are suggesting missles or railguns before respecing your skills. |

My advice is stick to anti infantry. For you to make an impression you would need to hover just above the tank. Skilled infantry wll bring you down in a heartbeat with the top turret blaster or AV nades. |

The way dropships are now, skilled infantry are going to destroy a dropship without much effort anyways. Probably not with AV grenades, but even a single militia forge gun can pin a good dropship down for an entire match. |
