I was wondering on may 6th when we get the new build. CCP said they will refund all of our sp including isk used to purchase skill books so we can respec into skills. My question is will we be able to create a whole new character meaning changing name and race along with class to respec with or will we just use the same char that already exist? Also what about alt characters? |

Not sure about name, but they did talk about a brand new character creator so I'm thinking we will get to decide our race and such. |

all sp outside of the starter skills for your class will be rendered unalocated.
All isk spent on skills will be refunded
no names or races will be changed
you are more than welcome to create a new character, but you will not have the SP of your current one
if you want proof of this go read the dev blogs on the patch |

its in their podcasts/vidcasts and written a few places that are somewhat unobvious but i dont have time to spoonfeed you |

They have 1 pod cast, in which the mention a new character creator, and 1 vidcast, about the link between EVE and Dust. It's not that I don't believe you, but if you're going to make such definitive claims then you should really have proof available.
And about not having the time, you're on the the forums, so clearly you're busy life isn't all that busy. |

We've already been able to choose race and starting specialisation. I'd love to have a chance to rebuild my characters with the new character creator, but I'd hope they keep your name already assigned if they do that, and I'm not sure how the devs would pull that off. |

Corporations will remain untouched. The membership cap will remain at its current point. You can have someone become CEO that has high skills and then transfer CEO status to someone that has the corp skill at 1 and retain the higher cap. People have been doing this for a long time in EVE.
