You never resort to cheap tactics to win a fight, you always show the enemy team respect. You don't tea bag. You are generally a stuck up snob who thinks anyone who does anything you wouldn't do is a honor less twit.
I do not have video game honor. But this is do thew fact that I came from the 360 side of gaming where little kiddies, and scrubs do nothing but rage at one another over stupid things. There are a lot stupid clans that take video game honor to a whole new level, and actually send you hate mail that generally says "you have no honor" after you tea bag them in a match of slayer in halo.
My friends and I would always do everything we could to win. Such as spawn trapping/camping, using broken abilities, glitches in certain maps that are supposed to be unreachable, and trash talk them to the point of making them rage quit.
when I come here, and take part in Corp battles and what not. I can't help but notice an unspoken code of conduct between corps. AIt just feels like that code of conduct between rivaling corps is actually getting in the way of winning at times.
If you **** off the enemy team, or certain members, they tend to do worse. They make stupid decisions, hunt down certain members of your team, and ignore everything else. Quit, AFK. Or just generally give up and stop trying to win.
It's psychological warfare, yet it seems to found upon within the PS3's gaming community.

I do whatever I think is right. If that means ambushing (which some people may read as camping) I will. Just for the record, I don't camp, but if I see enemies coming towards me on mini-map, then I'll ambush them.
However, I don't glitch, and I don't spawn camp. I hate spawn campers, even if they're on my team.
Why? We're a good community. Most people generally have integrity (not trying to imply you don't), in that if something annoys us, we won't do it to other people. |

I would fall under the category of having honor, In most games I play, I usually try to use the most unused or underpowered weapons in the game, this game I do have honor but not as much as I would in other games, sometimes you gotta do what it takes to win. |

I disrespect my enemy if I do not respect them..I Tbag quite casually sometimes it's for recognizing skill sometimes it's for making me chase you and showing complete DISRESPECT. I do no exploits ever. I think people that result to cheap tactics are gutless noobs. So I guess I am nearly the title :P |

Um is that a serious question? I played the Socom series taught us to gunfight as you had to play a entire round with one health bar. Sorry that you can't hit a target strafing back and forth. Perhaps you should be improving ya aim and not crying about people strafing like that's some kind of cheat. |

I play to feel good, some times I do bad things and feel bad. Tonight I teamkilled a thale user and it made me feel bad, so I'll resist the urge next time.
However, I think anything goes in dust. Personally I don't want to ruin anyones day, but I feel New Eden would be less intriguing if there were no people out to get you and make you rage.
Some imperfect dude teamkilled me once when I was running thale. I should have realized he knows how to do it, since he kept trying and succeeded at 51 kill mark. I deserved to lose that one for not taking the hint :D |

I and my corpmates are well aware of Honor. Honor is an intangible good that takes months of hard work to earn and only seconds to lose. We understand the value of honor and reputation, and we urge others to understand that value as well. Act appropriately, everyone, lest you make a fatal mistake. |

people who go looking for exploits and glitches do it for a reason, they're not good enough at the game to steamroll people normally so they look for stupid, annoying advantages like what OP mentioned.

Um.... Strafing is a legit tactic in any game with ranged weapons. Ever.
It provides the greatest radial velocity to a target, thereby maximising your chance to *not* get hit, and at the same time, enable you to shoot back. Truly want to not get hit? Then sprint. Not hard. |

It is human nature to get aggravated and lash back at those who annoy you.
I snipe mostly, so honor got lost somewhere along the way ha ha :).
My vice is looking at the enemy players list in the waiting area, then seeking out and sniping those in the most prolific Corporations...kind of childish, I know, conceited almost, but I can't help myself!

Video game honor? If the devs say I can't do something, I can't do something. Anything else is fair game. If you refuse to use a tactic or weapon out of some misguided sense of ethics, you are both hamstringing yourself and preventing the devs from gaining accurate data on game balance. |
