lol i dont undrstand how u people can not think before u speak. it makes perfect sense to have repair damage mods. there called nanits we all ready have them in the world we live in today. mind u they are not prefected yet but in the near future we will have nanits repairing things and people for us at a mielctor lv.

and ps now that im thinking it might make sence to have armor hardners 2 we have stuff right now that if u pass cerent throw it it gets harder so maby its not as unreal as i first made it out to be.

haveing said that if they keep it the way it is they need to do something better for shield tanks. shield tanks damage reduicers are way shorter in the time they are active and take way longer to cool down before reactivating.

armor is 60sec run time and 15 cool down

shield is i think 15-30sec run time and 30-60 cool down

not even close to even fair or cool

Since you asked, I like lasers. I want mine to be red though. Skilled into a viziam earlier tonight. An it's chuffing awesome! Even better than the last build. Melts militia instantly. Even takes chunks out of militia tanks.

Downside is it's useless below 30 meters range. Resort to use smg at close range which is a major disadvantage against a capable AR user.

With the New skill tree coming, the laser won't have the same impact it does now.

I can see why people think it's OP but I'll always get more kills using a duvolle AR than a viziam LR on any map. So I don't think it's the instant win everyone makes it out to be.

See, my duvolle would do it in 5 seconds too. 3 seconds if I was lucky enough to get headshots. An I don't mean on you in particular, just on a heavy in general.

except for the part where if you actually read the description of the gun, it is not the heat build up on the target that makes it more powerful, it is the heat build up within the gun itself, so it makes perfect sense to fire it for a bit(warming up) then focus the full blast on an unsuspecting victim.

The laser rifle is a continuous wave, medium range weapon. Targets are GÇÿpainted' with a high intensity beam that deals sustained, focused damage in a concentrated area to maximize damage potential. At the core of the weapon is the thermal cavity, within which an optic spacer converges and blends three individually pumped beams into a single coherent output. Heat build-up is typically managed by a self-regulating failsafe, a device used to forcibly shut the weapon off at regular intervals, flushing heat from its internal workings and preventing lethal feedback to the user, but most laser rifles in the field have been altered to bypass the built-in safety protocols.


Just in case reading that hurt your head, when you begin firing the beam is slightly scattered(A big no-no for lasers, real or fictional) as you continue, the heat build up in the gun causes the scatter to reduce thereby making the beam seem like it gains in power, but in reality, it has simply warmed to an optimal temperature for operation so it's maximum power is actually just normal operating temperature for the system.

u may be right as im not someone that works with or makes lasers. as far as i was aware thow a lasers damage over time is more based on heat build up of the laser being on target rather then the small factor of what ever bs u spouted there.
