My 8 year old son asked me to show him how to do it. I went 34-0 with my proto logi suit last night in one of my games. Didn't die even once for all the 7 games I played last night. #Justsaying okay i'm impressed, but then proto gear does give you an advantage. |

The only advantage an enemy gets on the field is what you give them. Suits or weapons have nothing to do with it. And the extra HP and slots have nothing to do with it There is no extra HP. There is the extra slots that can give you extra HP. True I can get over 1000 EHP on my logi suit but that slows me down by 30%. The extra HP is not worth it. I will switch back to a shield heavy category after the wipe. The tanking however does help with my lasers and MD. I can literally stand in the middle of the map and fry everyone. But I miss my speed and agility. The proto logi suit is by far the best suit in the game. Unfortunately its not being used wisely. Slap on a balac or a krin on that proto logi and there is a killing machie right there. With more EHP than a proto heavy proto logis should be killing machines. Not support. Waste of a suit IMHO. Ad even if you don't want to kill using weapons, slap on some REs, Proximity Mines, Guaged Nanohives and Fused grenades and you are a walking AV/AI personal. If you plan on going 4/3 you may as well use a SVER BPO. #justsaying PS: I don't mean for anyone to get butt hurt about this. Just saying there is a better way to use 300K Outfit. the extra tank slots was what i meant when i said extra hp, i really should have written that post better, and the suit balance is rather uneven right now imo |

The problem is your are viewing the logi through an assault lens. The beauty of the logi is that it can be played so many different ways, its not restricted to a killing machine. Someone can go 0/0 and be the most effective logi on the field.
True. I view everything from a kill or win standpoint. If I cant win, I will kill. True logistics potential is achieved only when there are 2 or more heavies and you atleast have a fractal repair tool to rep both heavies at the same time. Other than that most assault and scouts carry their own reppers, nanohives and nanite injectors. Why would I even need a Logi on the field then? For droplinks you can create a starter fit, drop the droplink and then change into whatever fit you want. The fact of the matter is logistics suits are just not suited for logistics. For example; you can use a logistics VK1 to take out an armor tank. Fit 3 different sets of proximity mines, packed av nades and a MD. Throw on some shield extenders and put a couple of speed mods. Instant tank killer. Works like a charm. How many other suits give you this advantage? The same technique can be used to have 3 sets of REs and defend 3 points by yourself. No real need to have a Logi in the group unless its full of heavies. Sorry to say but you don't use most equipment most of the time in any case. When i actually run support and don't just run around killing people i use equipment a lot, normally because some stupid blueberries don't know the meaning of the word cover |

Let him die! If he is stupid enough not to take cover and gets killed, odds are when a logi revives him he is just going to stand there and wait to be shot again. If a smurf gets killed because of his stupidity, just leave him be But he hands out so much WP, and I take satisfaction from the fact that i'm messing his KDR up |

All othe proto suits seem to be the new spring fashion. I swear last week it was even rare to see one pop up in the war barge. This week it's all the rage. I've seen some ill pro to scouts running around as well. It was hilarious to see some protoscout waltz into a group of blueberries causing them all to shoot each other while he bounced around taking them all out with his shorty before hoping off with only half his shield ate up. I always aim for other logi's, no point shooting someone if they're just going to rep them back to full health |
