When I go 0/6 in my best heavy suit something is wrong. I could not walk 5 steps without getting killed by a damn AR rifle. In just a few 10ths of a second im down. You need to make this game fun and fair CCP. My best HMG would not even put a dent in players I was shooting at. I have been irritated by the lack of attention heavies have gotten since I started playing the game. So much for your matchmaking deal. I will return when these issues have been addressed. |

Remember, it's not all about your gear. You have to have the skills to back it up as well. Having a good suit only helps so much against Assault players with high skills and damage mods.
I would suggest beefing up Shield Control and Field Mechanics to LVL 5 ASAP. Also, have a Logi attached to your hip to rep you whenever you need it. They'll appreciate the free WP.
Although you do have more HP than most users (normally), you are not invincible. Still play with caution. If you're losing 1v1 gunfights at close/close-medium range, you're not hitting your target with your shots or they're using solid fits. Stick to cover and drop behind it once your shield is gone. Let it recharge and go back out to finish them off.
I play as a Heavy 99% of the time and generally the only times I'll die are when I get attacked by 2+ enemies or I'm by myself and I get sandwiched between enemies. As a Heavy in a good suit, you shouldn't lose gunfights with anyone besides other Heavies. |

also... a fancy suit is no subsitite for smarts, you can't face a whole team on your own, duels you may win better but playing smart wins
also no heavy can touch a real tank for survivability. They can take multiple forge gun hits. |

Lmao you must be one crappy heavy, if you're running around solo as a heavy instead of sticking by your blue dot assaults and logi's your doing it wrong. If you can't take out a single assault while fitted with the best suit and HMG you're doing it wrong. Every single assault player will be gunning for a heavy out in the open because to be quite honest we just don't like you fat boys. You guys weren't to nice to us in the early months of open beta and now that were all grown up we find enjoyment in drinking your tears.  |

I eat "no aim" heavies like a kid in a candystore whenever i meet them, i strafe a bit and you hear the HMG hit lots of air all around me and he drops dead as a rock, shields 100% intact , i giggle...

I agree the Heavy could use some love, but it is in no way weak.
I'm at 3.5mill SP with mine and have a 3.6 k/d, proto assaults with Duvolle's are about the only assault player's that give me trouble 1vs1.
Have you gotten into HMG proficiency yet? Are you shield tanking? Or armor? What modules are you using? Are you rushing headfirst into groups of red dot's screaming like Rambo?
You need to elaborate on what your best suit is and most likely need re-think how your playing out there. |

Honestly, it sounds like you are just bad. I see plenty of heavies do just fine, and unless you can come up with more substantial evidence that something is wrong here the most likely conclusion people will draw is that you simply ran at good players and got mowed down. |

Don't spawn in bad spots with a heavy. Better yet HTFU, you're too squishy, I can spawn into a bad spot and down 2-4 people trying to camp it with a type-1.

Smart heavies teamed with logis still absolutely wreck. Though, based on my small experience with proto ARs, Im thinking a proto assault fitted with armor plates and proto AR would absolutely replace the heavy with an HMG in almost every situation and do it better, and have an equipment slot.
That being said, heavies dominate at the lower level gear if played smart. |

Dust 514 is like the most balanced game I know, each thing to be fighting against haves a counter, and tbh, you sound like someone who bought a 1k militia heavy to kill people because you think HMG is "COOOOOOOOL".
Seriously, its not the weapon that matters, but who is using it.
I think I've gone positive +10 with Militia AR. NO EXCUSES. |

Wednesday fights are always harder.
I play militia blueprint heavy with the cheapest stuff I can find around the market. It's fine by me, I die, but not that much. I rely on base skills I invested to do the job.
One of the thing I don't like about the HMG is the fact that no matter how good you can aim, you will always be dependant of the gun spread, so you need to adapt to that. Not sure the hit detection help us that much,but it doesn't change the fact that you need to adapt to it.
Add this to the fat and slow suit, it can get pretty hard when you play ambush on manus peak with laser, AR and sniper shooting your ass. Not the best map for a heavy. I am sure you do better when there is building/cover...if you use them.
It is a different play style then the other suit. You can't run away, so don't get flanked.

No Idea how people have so much trouble or think the Heavy is so underpowered. Just last night I was running around in my type 2 heavy with advanced HMG that is the best I have unlocked. I was going 16+ kills on ambush with 1-4 deaths. One game I came around the corner 2 proto suits and 4 other varients and melted all 6 guys. So no idea where you are having trouble but I know I am able to destroy with the heavy. |

Ar user 4 million sp to level up light weapons versus six million sp to level heavy weapons.
Light weapons 2X versus heavy weapons 3X.
Thats why heavy skill tree is pathetic.
Anywho back to leveling scout/smg.

There is no matchmaking currently, so you have to pay very close attention to the player lists before you enter matches. If I had more specifics I could tell you what might be your problem. The information in your childish rant doesn't tell me anything.

you guys are all fools. the game does have issues and its the balance between new, semi experienced and people who have been around for a long time. It is the skill level that seperates. When you get in a game against a really tough team that is experienced they will have a very huge advantage. Do not go off and say blah blah blah, cuz thats all I have read so far. The proof is in the results. When you see a one sided match, its proof that it is unbalanced. Perhaps with the SP reset I can of course take full opportunity to spec myself correctly as well. So I am looking forward to that.
btw.
I just needed some time off. I took almost 4 weeks off from the game and I am glad I did. It was a healthy dose of recovery.
