Or, alternatively, you could make heavy gear cost more ISK/AUR. |

No. If anything, they have been overly nerfed to death. My brother specializes in heavies and even he is not immune to dying to smaller suits. I've done the dance of death against some heavies with just my standard nova knife and survived about 50% of the time. They are not OP. |

Hes been gunned down in a face off with hmgs three times guys.
Clearly hes right. heavies must be OP, because it happened at all. His argument has invalidated me losing the same way to a gek with a boundless.
Dude go away. this kinda crap is why the only good thing about running heavy is the forge gun. |

Yes heavies are Op, that's why you see so many prototype and advanced heavies consistently steamrolling.

^^ higher tier heavies needs some work. Think there has already been a post on that proto heavies are extremly expensive and they get almost no extra slots or extra armor/shield. Higher tier heavies needs a buff in form of maybe 1 extra low and high or just low or whatever ( leave that to ccp to figur out )
When it comes to HMG range, well..... they've already been nerfed once and i myself always find myself on the other side of a HMG and damage does decrease over range somewhat...... but keep crying. |

You can't really use the GEK or Duvolle as fair comparisons though. They shred everything. With the damage those things seem to put out, someone could take down an MCC by accidentally letting off a burst in it's general direction. Heavies themselves may or may not need a buff, but the range of ALL the HMGs is ridiculous. I've seen players up on the scaffold things in Ashland, in standard and even advance suits, on the move, get mowed down by Militia HMGs on the ground, many times. You can't tell me every one of those heavies had Heavy Weapon Sharpshooter at level 5. Numbers aside, that is indicative of a much needed range/accuracy reduction. There is no militia HMG - FAIL |
