So you're confused that people who say tanks are OP get lots of agreement, while people who say the opposite get the opposite reaction?
I'm confused about why this is confusing...
Tanks are OP: Everyone says yes.
Anti-tank weapons are OP: Everyone says no.
Most players think (incorrectly) that tanks are more powerful than they should be. If they were correct, the logical solutions would be to either buff AV or nerf tanks. When someone says tanks are OP, people who think tanks are OP will agree. When someone says AV is OP, people who think tanks are OP will ask for a buff instead.
As someone who runs both AV and tanks on multiple characters, the balance between AV and vehicles is pretty good right now. There are issues with Missile Turrets having been over-nerfed, and some problems with even the better turrets having (only slightly) too many drawbacks for their advantages. If they straighten up how tank weapons work so they're more balanced instead of being underpowered, maybe AV will need a buff, but at the moment, it works well, and so do tanks. |

Assaults are the most commonly-used suit. Everyone uses them, and is comfortable and familiar with them.
Assault Rifles are the most commonly-used weapon. Everyone uses them, and is comfortable and familiar with them.
If something that's outside your comfort zone is killing you, regardless of what that something is, it must be OP.
