Don't want to burst your bubble... but 80 mil ISK per corp is nothing lol. There are several members in our Corp (including myself) that have that much ISK in their personal accounts, let alone whatever is in the Corp wallet. If you plan on doing planetary conquest I suggest you either merge, or join an established corporation that has the ISK, the player skill, and the Eve backing to actually hold territory.
Consider joining Cygnus Tactical Operations, or any corp that's a part of Gentlemen's Agreement. (CTOPS, SH4T or XMPLR) There's also another small corp group like this place, called Small Corp Coalition. -there you might have better luck keeping your corps in tact (if you desire to) and still getting in on some Planetary Conquest.
But like I said, your best bet would be joining one of the above mentioned corps.. :/
Good luck! |

Maybe you could talk to them and possibly join up since your causes seem to be the same? But like I said, your best bet would be joining one of the above mentioned corps.. :/ Good luck! Money is the only issue here, we have the backing to hold our districts, it's the startup fee for the corps that's the problem... That's cool that you have 80 mil isk alone but not everyone does. Well that's kind of the point. True, not everyone has 80 mil at this point. But not everyone will be able to do planetary conquest either. If a small corp has their eyes set on holding down some territory, they better be able to be online pretty regularly, have the skills to defeat people that challenge them, and have the ISK to continually resupply clones AND their own gear.
xLTShinySidesx wrote:Our corp has the isk for startup, I'm just worried about the other guys... 80 mil isk is allot to them, pub matches don't pay **** and you know that, most people only break even when they're first starting out. This is kind of a whole separate issue, but I posted here to try to help you guys out; so I'll help you with this too. IMHO pub matches pay generously. Idk what you're using, but no matter how suckey of a player someone is, they should be able to turn a profit in one match. If you are using gear that you causes you to barely break even, or go negative.. that should be a sign that your gear is too expensive for your skill level. Granted a fatsuit or a vehicle pilot has more expensive gear, but they should die a lot less than lets say a standard assault player (like myself).
xLTShinySidesx wrote:You're 80 mil isk is nothing comment further proves how unsuccessful and big corp driven PC is going to be. At the 80 mil isk entry, PC will be a joke and the whole galaxy will be owned by 5-10 different corps, sounds fun What makes you think it will be run by 5-10 different corps? It's not "big corps" that have that kind of dust cash. Like I said, 80 million is nothing compared to Dust corp wallets not to mention the billions in potential Eve money if a corp has backing from them.
Anyway, like I said, just saw an opportunity to help some people out. Take it or leave it, and good luck ^_^ |

Soraya Xel wrote:stormtroopin, please avoid directly recruiting for your corp in another alliance's thread. The Gent's offer is out on the table for people to find. FSC corps may want to consider merging into a larger alliance in the future (either as players or whole corps), but it's not our place to directly push for them to do so in someone else's thread. And as the SCC leadership has requested they don't talk about FSC in their thread, it's probably courteous to do the same, and not talk about the SCC in here. ;) oh didn't realize that about the SCC/FSC thing.. Sorry if I seemed to be poaching. Hopefully everyone will look at my posts as a few free bumps then |
