So I have been playing around with the dropship and am now happy to confirm you can do a back flip in a dropship  I have not got it down to science yet (working about 2 out of 5 times) but hopefully in the next couple day I will. I plan on getting some videos up of my stunt piloting soon[tm]. |

Are you using an afterburner? If not, it will change your world.
If so, try it without one. |

I do back flips all the time. Barrel rolls on the other hand... well the one time I tried it I scraped the roof of a building, (I'm pretty sure I tk'd an unfortunate blueberry who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time) and proceeded to catch fire and fall out of the air. |

It's good for turning 180 and getting the heck out really fast. |

In my Myron Immelmans (say that 3 times fast...NOW!) seem to happen almost like it wants to...thrust up, pull back, lay off throttle & go with the roll, thrust up when bottom thrusters are facing down....it's that easy, nice & smooth. And NO, it never gets boring. I could go from one end of a map to the other the whole time doing Immelmans & be totally fine with that.
Barrel Rolls are another thing all together...from what I can tell, the faster and more reckless it seems is when I pull off rolls. If I think about it and try & control the maneuver, I plop over like a Drunk RDV pilot. If I just say "Screw It!" gives me about a 3/5 chance.
Side note on Barrel Rolls: If your confident with your Myrons shields try and use Swarm impacts to help push over faster....haven't tried it, but sounds solid...gonna go sacrifice a few DS for SCIENCE!!!
other than that....on the matter of the Grimses....stunt flying? I don't think so....she's a hefty infantry/vehicle killing machine when fitted right. But let's face facts, its no sports car....

Ive done barrel rolls. They are super risky cuz the second u roll u will fall at the same time. Ive only done it with a afterburner. |

Afterburners are a MUST if you ever wanna do fancy evasive flying....and why wouldn't you? We are only effective air support for 5-7 seconds at a time....and flying fast & crazy is really fun....
Side note: Swarms don't help barrel rolls, still at 3/5 successful rolls with Swarm hits. |

I do barrel rolls easily enough.. Get high enough and begin the roll and then hold L2 when you're upside down ^_^ |

hmm...gonna have to try that....didn't really think about the reverse-thrust whilst being inverted (good idea, here's your +1) oh well, look's like I'm gonna sacrifice 5 more DS for SCIENCE!!!!
