A few places, like the Forge Gun description, I've seen the term "anti-material".
The correct term is "anti-materiel":

I'm not trying to be jerk, just pointing out something that should eventually get fixed. |

RoundEy3 wrote:Both terms are accurate and common place in the mentioning of such weapons in their real world existence. Material is just as fitting as sometimes you're shooting through someone's house, or personal car for example.
I assume that you're cracking a joke, but for those who are unclear:

Anti-Materiel weapons are those intended for destroying vehicles, installations, etc. |

Ulysses Knapse wrote:Materiel can be spelled as material, they are both correct. I prefer materiel, but there is nothing wrong with material.
Strangely, they are two separate and distinct words which entered the English language at different times and via different routes.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/material (Middle English directly from Latin) http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/materiel (Modern English from Napoleonic French)
A similar confusion would be the words "Madame" and "Madam":
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Madame http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Madam
While a true "Madame" might have the grace to forgive an innocent dropping of the "e", a self-conscious woman would likely perseverate on the subtext- q.v. "Dame":
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Dame
An interesting blend of connotations there as well, given that Dame Judi Dench is not just some dame. |

Typos are somewhere between bugs and feedback, IMNSHO.
I would like them to fix typos, I just don't expect it to be done quickly.
However, unlike lag and hit detection, typos are the sort of thing that can be fixed just by having some lackey type the fix into the appropriate system. |
