wtf is up with low sp during a battle i when from getting 3-8 k down to 600 ... ..i read there is some kind of cap on how many you can get ... this is really BS i just paid for boost and now i find out they can limit how many i earn .... they should tell you that when you but the boost .... by the way friend if you make too many sp your wasting money paying for a boost ... tell you right now ccp wont be getting any more of my hard earn money just so they can limit my sp .and yes i have been playing alot in the last few days (my days off) but thats because i need the pratice .. but now im wasting my time trying to get new dropsuit skills ... this is total BS

You spend $60 and don't do the slightest research into what you bought then come here to complain? I'll help you out. You bought a 50% higher cap and you get there 50% faster. Enjoy.

Um. Hate to ruin the post, but if you gain SP at a 50% greater rate, and the cap is 50% higher, then you get to the cap in the same amount of time.

The cap is something like 190k a week. That resets on Wednesdays. To hit 190k, you need to play at least 30 games, if you're getting 6-7k a match. I'll guesstimate at about an hour for three games, so yes, that's ten hours a week you'd need to play. Just about enough time for those who have jobs or can't play frequently to get on and enjoy some time in the game, instead of being destroyed by teenagers who do nothing after school, or in the holidays, but game. Not implying you're one of them.

First.

Do your frakking homework before you buy anything with aurum. Your first mistake was that you bought without thinking. I can tell you weren't thinking by virtue of the fact that you are now realizing the existence of an SP cap AFTER you were using active boosters.

Second.

You can use the passive boosters instead. They are not affected in any way by the SP cap.

Third.

There is a legitimate reason why the SP cap exists. We have talked about this extensively throughout the entire past 12 months or so. If you use the search function for once before you decided to buy the active booster, you would have seen the near-endless discussion on the topic. A public vote was put in place looooooooong ago and the vast majority of players wanted the SP cap with the current soft cap you see today.

Fourth.

Throwing a temper tantrum is not going to help your cause. You are coming across as a spoiled brat demanding to have his cake after he ate it. We frown on people like that in these neck of the woods.

Fifth.

If you don't like dust because of this SP cap, fine. Call of Duty and Halo are that way.

There is a weekly skill cap there is a set amount of sp you can gain in the cap. After you hit this cap you get something called a soft cap. With the soft cap you get a skill point for every warpoint you get in battle but if you get over 1000 points you can only get 1000 sp (1500 with booster). This is not a scam to rip off booster buyers. It applies to everyone and for a good reason. If anything you should thank ccp if it wasnt for them people like cubs and zdowwgg (most active players) would be miles ahead of everyone in sp. They did this so people who had more time could still get a advantage but not too large of one.

...After that just play ambush for the ISK, those fancy Dropsuits and shiny toys don't come cheap!
