Honestly, after the events that happened above and on Caldari Prime, I have a hard time giving support to either the Gallente or the Caldari. Sure, Tibus Heth tried to commit genocide on us and I did everything I could to make sure they would not succeed in that regard. But Jacus Roden has been no better, if less active on his attempts to purge us. When I was down there battling, looking at the crashed Titan in the horizon, it kind of made me realize the insanity of both parties. In one hand the Caldari were threatening to decimate entire Caldari Prime with the Titan Doomsday weapon, while the Gallente on the other hand didn't even try peaceful negotiations and instead opted for a full-out war.
After all this, both the Gallente and the Caldari are to be blamed from this disaster, and instead of insulting each other and trying to make one or the other empire look bad, we should focus on helping the civilians of Caldari Prime. The civilians, both Caldari and Gallente, are the real losers of this pointless war, and it's about time we helped them. Contrary to popular belief, we are not just cold-blooded killers. |

Also we Minmatar will rise again! No good sir, I don't think you understand how strong a Titan is. We don't even have to fight any other ships, they will think its their Titan and just let it into their shielded bays where we can just lauch everything we got at them.. Or worse comes to worse we just set the fusion reactors to go critical and blow the ship and headquarters to tiny pieces, meanwhile we just respawn in one of our clones to do it all over again. And if we get caught, we will just claim we were different mercenaries hired by the other corporation and not the friendly mercenaries they hired. We all look alike anyway, just alittle red or blue spray paint.
You obviously have no idea how big Titans actually are, or how they work, so I'm not going to point out the million or so flaws in your plan. I will point out one though:
How in the hell are you going to fly a ship size of a space station, which houses tens of thousands of mercenaries completely untrained in operating a Titan? |

Firstly Tiberius us right. If you dont want to dies for your empire then Gallente supporters should just walk away. Secondly @ Denak as a Caldari Loyalist I will always make to expunge the lives of any and all Gallente citizens from this universe.
I would rather take the ISK and walk away rather than support a group that threatens with genocide on billions of Gallente lives, while the other side disregarded all safety and shot a Titan that basically made Caldari Prime unhabitable for centuries. I also find it ironic that you support the Caldari State, the same people who tried to kill all dropclone soldiers, including you two. Sure, you can blame it all on Heth, but that doesn't fix the immense amount of irony found in your posts. |

If you really believed that, you would stop debating your "loyalty to the State" and actually go with Ishukone to help the Caldari Prime relief efforts. You say you want Heth dead, but at the same time you condone them moving the Titan to low orbit above the planet in preparation to kill every single Gallente down there. They refused to retreat when victory wasn't possible, which then eventually crashed into the planet and costing millions upon millions of lives. Not to mention that 200 years earlier, long before Heth the Caldari State attacked Caldari Prime and crashed a Gallente dreadnought into the planet, resulting in the same situation as now.
If you actually believe that it was the right choice or that killing all Gallente is your goal, you are no better than Heth himself. The civilians, both Gallente and Caldari are the real losers of this war, and if you actually wanted to support your people, you would go down there and actually help them. |

and no price is too high to keep our homeworld.
i don't condone heths actions, but neither will i stand by as the gallente attempt to steal my homeworld once again.
and i have no problem with gallente deaths on caldari prime, they should never have been there in the first place.
they accepted their fate the moment they landed on OUR homeworld
He speaks the truth I would see a thousand Gallente burn for each mile of Caldari space they took if it were in my power. Heth's actions have soldified the state at present time. I too was on CaldarI Prime I know the Gallente are not free of guilt for what they did to any Caldari they came across. Its was our home, its now our home, and its now Caldari Sovereign Space. And as long as your fleet is in orbit more Gallente innocents die by the day.
Did you know that the Caldari were once Gallente? The Caldari weren't happy with the way Gallente ran things, so they decided to secede from the union, which lead into a 100 year long war. Only when the Gallente made first contact with the Amarr did them both decide to negotiate a peace treaty as the Amarr were a bigger threat. After that Caldari Prime never officially seceded from the Gallente Federation, so you have no basis on the claim that it was your planet. It's as much Gallente as it is Caldari.
And even if you managed to win the ground battles, the statistical difference was only around 7%, a hardly significant margin. And for what exactly did you win? To gain a planet now completely unhabitable because of both sides acting like idiots? To brag about how kills you made to regain your 'homeplanet'? I have to remind you, there were also Caldari living down on the planet. Your State's actions lead to the death of all those people too, and now they don't have a place they called home because both sides are so stubborn they do not think of the consequenes their actions lead to.
If you believe gaining an insignificant statistical victory over a piece of now unhabitable land while in the heart of Gallente territory is a good thing, then you truly are hopeless. Not to mention the billions of Gallente and Caldari civilians killed in the crossfire. Congratulations. |

Since obviously no one here is willing to even try listening to reason and negotiate a peace, I am not going to even bother knocking some sense to you lunatics, Gallente and Caldari. I will address Tiberius and Harkon briefly though:
General Tiberius1 wrote:the caldari would have been glad to die knowing the gallente were prevented from stealing OUR planet once again.
and it never was part of the gallente federation, it was never given, again, it's stolen property back in the hands of its ORIGINAL owners
Learn your history, then your non-sensical and stupid arguments might at least have some credit.
Harkon Vysarii wrote:They are more than just civilians my friend they were patriots of the Caldari State and willing to die to presever Caldari superiority, as for Gallentean casualties....those are negligible. Minor statistical victory to a sprawling federation such as yourselves but to small militaristic government like ours it is acceptable losses/ acceptable margin on victory in the reclaimation of our races ancient birthplace. While true that we never officially became independent, rather took that for ourselves, (I hope im right on this one) that the Gallente Federation acknowledged the Caldari sovereignty of Caldari Prime when Heth's surgical strike captured the planet. Thus this most recent act of agression it totally unwarranted and the war is re ignited because of Gallentean interests in one of the Caldari systems meaning that any casualties of gallente citizens on the ground were accrued bacause of your governments short sightedness and warmongering.
Patriots of the Caldari state? Are you really that naive? Most of the civilians down on the planet had nothing to do with the war. Heck, some of them even had friends and family on the Gallente side. And now you're claiming that they're happy that this stupid war ruined their homeplanet for good, not to mention that some, even all of their friends and family being killed due to this war. You should really walk up to them and say that they are now true patrions, I'm sure that will really comfort them.
And do I really have to remind you that Heth ordered the Shiigeru to point it's doomsday weapon to the planet to exterminate all Gallente, regardless of Caldari casualties? You left the Gallente no choice, either stand aside and let the Caldari exterminate all Gallente on Caldari Prime, or do something to prevent further disasters like this. I'm not saying that the act of aggression was the right thing to do, there could have been diplomatic negotiations to prevent this tragedy. What I'm saying is that you forced the Gallente to act, don't pretend to be surprised that they decided to attack.
And how many times do I have to tell you that your so called 'victory' down on the planet results into nothing but more death and suffering? Gallente have their fleet occupying the space above Caldari Prime, and the Caldari forces down on the planet are completely cut off from any support or supplies. i'm telling you again, whatever victory you are celebrating is going to be very brief when the Gallente start their siege.
Enjoy your pointless bickering and nationalism. |

Interesting point of view Mr. Hermit. Unfortunately, I am not aware of this "Role playing" you are speaking of, and unless you mean Freedom of Progress with fps, I have no idea what you are talking about with that either. I can guarantee you we are not playing a game here, we are having a serious discussion about the recent events in Caldari Prime(which I have failed to convince it's stupidity). You sure you're not one of those first generation clones with faulty Sleeper tech? If so, I would suggest you head to the nearest Cloning facility and reprocess yourself into biomass for other dropclone soldiers to use.
Have a nice day. |
