If I were to produce a video for my company/product, or give an interview about it, I would Facebook, Google+1, Tweet and SPAM the crap out of it. So... how come we've not seen announcements of this new video regarding the Caldari Prime event: http://ca.ign.com/videos/2013/03/25/its-happening-dust-514-and-eve-online-merge-together Or this video from Pax this past weekend, about the next 10 years: http://ca.ign.com/videos/2013/03/25/eve-what-do-the-next-10-years-hold-pax-east Come on... we may not be as important as IGN... but we'd like you to at least post links to this stuff once your media partner has posted it...!

Besides, as a moderating factor, this video still only provides teasers of a build that still has no confirmed date, or changelog. I have been very critical of CCP of late for the manner in which they have been overhyping future developments. That they quietly put this out, no hype, is a big improvement in my eyes. Let the content speak for itself, no need to try and whip the players into a frenzy for content that is still some time away. Also, big thumbs up to Wolfman for his work in the thread on the dev blog, great answers, no BS, lots of info. I almost feel like a bit of a **** for my postings yesterday.

The only money they should spend on marketing is to gain new members which is the whole push for Odyssey and Dust. But to get new members they are going to need different videos showing the ease of play and depth of the game, not someone talking about it. This video was made for IGN to post to IGN viewers to get site traffic from Dust players and Eve players. I'm surprised you don't know this already.

I mean scramble rifle plasma launcher Improved graphics and what looked like a new map as well (or at very least a redesign of one, or that might just be the new graphics fooling me) and that suit looked sick I hope its one of the specials

The fact the OP didn't realize that is a bit telling. But by all means Mr. Marketing guru write a letter to CCP telling them how to do things.
