If you read the books care about the lore at all it does as for game play i'm not a dev so i can't speak for them. i know your being a smart ass so in case you didn't see i said trolls please ignore.

Hard to say. I was convinced that the players were going ot throw enough matches so that the Caldari would lose, thus clearing off the planet and making way for a hot war between Gallente and Caldari. It would have made no sense for the Gallente to start a hot war with a Titan able to kill their people on Caldari Prime. If the Caldari manage to hold the planet, it can't last, because it serves as too much of a strategic threat to the Gallente.

Might set up a purge type event where contracts will be offered to help expunge the caldari from the planet.

Or maybe they will do another live event in Eve to have the caldari fleets show up to rescue those still trappedo n the planet.

Who knows, but it could get really interesting soon.

Hot wars are much better than concorde enforced near peace.

Caldari Prime is the home world of the Caldari it is in the home system of the Gallente it is the source of constant battle between them the caldari were forced from there home world by the Gallente. Admiral Tiberous Heth launched a attack to take back Caldari Prime it was successful. He then left a Titan in orbit as a threat to the Gallente population that remained if they ever got out of line they would be bombed and killed. The Gallente were forced to live in gehttooes they were third class citzens lowest of the low. They could not stand this treatment anymore after 5 years they lauched a suprise attack on the titan. They destroyed it, but the defense forces on the ground still held the Gallente in check sooooo let's see how they play out the story.

I'm not understanding if EvE has thousands of planets and there are only 4 factions what about all the other planets? Who owns them? What make Caldari Prime special other than being their home planet? Space gold?

i wouldn't say they risked everything for it. if anything the Gallent had more the lose with the suprise attack. The titan was there as a treat. I imagine the Caldari States has at least 100 more. The Gallent scrum risked their own people lives to take a planet that was never theirs.
