i use an smg.. but i like how the scramblers have lower fitting costs. still, if i was in the middle of a close range firefight with a laser i feel a lot safer with that smg. |

Really it depend on the primary for me. If it's say an AR then I go with the pistol because they will probably already be wounded and I can hopefully finish them off with one shot. If it's a laser or swarms I'd go with the SMG since it's easier to hit your target multiple times with that weapon
And if I want to bring shame to their entire family I run with knives a breech pistol for when I sneak up on a heavy. |

The priesthood teaches us that there are varying definitions for the term "sidearm". The definition used in the priesthood is that it is a secondary weapon, used in emergencies, ammo shortages and other similar situations. Should a logibro wish to use SMGs or Scrambler Pistols it is debatable at best. The Priesthood frowns upon Logibros with Nova Knives should they ever appear they are to branded as worse than heretics. |

The 'ol pistola or nothing.
It's a great sign of disrespect and skill to kill a guy with a pistol while they have an AR or HMG.
Even more disrespectful is instead of shooting them with said pistol,pistol whipping them instead. |

Scrambler FTW. A more civilized weapon than the spray and pray smgs, and more effective than the fun, but difficult to use knives

I consider it a sign of respect for me to pistol kill someone, I used a weapon that I love, that requires I aim precisely, to kill you in a fast manner. I can see no greater respect than using what I use best to kill you. |

SMG. Especially deadly when you spec into the Sidearm skills a bit (I know there's been people who think they are out of range of my SMG but nope, they're dead)
The Knives are fun to play around with, but are just a little too finicky for me; fine on an alt, not so good on my main... |

I run an EXO-5 MD as a primary and my beloved ICD-9 Toxin SMG as a secondary. Combine those two with Flux Grenades and you have quite an effective weapons platform.

I use both SMG and SP at the same time. It is actually my favorite fit. I use the SP for the distance shots (I can kill with it in less than a clip at distances similar to: from the C hack station to the D hack station on line harvest) and I use the SMG for CQC.
When I am not running that I have a strict rule:
LR = SMG
MD = SP
AR = NK (but the NK's really suck though so I don't use them very often - in fact haven't even skilled them this build).
I also have double SP fit (one breach one assault) but this is just for fun. It requires a lot of reaload time and standing still in nano hives.
Man, I can't wait until we get the flailock (don't know if that's how you spell it) and any others I've heard rumor about. I'm a sidearms aficionado

scrambler pistols because headshots drop em quicker than chewing on someone with an SMG but i also use nova knives and a 'toxin' ICD-9 SMG so umm everything is situational!!! :) |
