Just what this, already falling apart, community needs... more self-entitled ('freeloaders') thinking CCP owns them anything...
Seriously... your 'Call to Arms', or should I say your 'Call to Empoverish" CCP is as childish as some of the responses in this thread.
You ask people to not give any money to CCP till they meet your 'demands', how old are you 10 ?
If you would have thought even the slightest bit about 'post', you would have already noticed that it is just plain dumb. Do you really thing that cutting off the income from Dust will change anything for CCP. Pretty sure that most of their stable income still comes, and will always come from EVE.
75% of the community probably never has and never will give any money to CCP in the first place. If you haven't done so by now, you won't do so in the future. (even do there are always exceptions... the majority simply won't).
Also to those that can't wrap their minds around the fact that some people pay for a game that is in Beta... either we (me included) simply have more faith in the game then others, or we simply aren't a bunch of whining - self entitled cheapskates that are glad to drop a few bucks every now and then to aide in the dev. of a game we like. I have payed 60 bucks for games that seriously sucked so why wouldn't I pay for something I think is pretty sweet.
At times I seriously wonder if the problem lies with me or with some of you... because we seriously see things in a totally different perspective.

Dude there is no denial from my side. I like the game, I have been playing "I have no clue" how many 100's of hours... WHY am I in denial.. because i payed for it. Lets say i played around 400-500 hours (easily) over the last 7/8 months. Even if someone would have payed them 60 bucks for it - it would still have been freakingly cheap. How many games have you played over 500 hours for 60 bucks ? 1, 2 ?
Trust me there is no denial here.. but then again I didn't make the mistake to invest in stuff that in the end sucked or didn't get released... apparently unlike you ;) |
