So i started playing this game on a whim, on my room mates ps3. I have no ps3 and never intended to get as into this game as i have. A month and 2.4m sp later, i dont much fancy the idea of doing this over again if i ever moved away from him and got my own ps3.
Is it possible to move individual characters from one account to another? Or am i screwed |

copy the game data on a usb then when you get it copy it in to your ps3, when you copy it on your ps3 it just means to pase it |

Were you using your own psn account or your roommates?
If it was his account then i suggest copying the game data on a usb. and copy it to your new one.
If it was your account then your fine if you use that account on your new ps3 |

All character information are stored server-side and are linked to your psn account.
The dust data on the ps3 are only options and fittings. |

This is what i imagined was so, and this is what i was afraid of.
This being the case, i'll ask again -- from one psn account to another, are character transfers possible? Or do i need to convince my friend to give me his account? |

No character transfers between PSN accounts are not possible (barring some act of devine mercy from CCP).
Still, it begs the question; as PSN accounts are free and take all of 10 minutes to set up, why didn't you make one for yourself? |

Actually i did, with the intention i'd keep it separate, but when i tried to sign on to my room mates PS3 with my account, it locked me out, like the PS3 was only for the use of his account. So i gave up and used his account. |
