Everyone knows how hard it is hit people with a Railgun / Forge Gun. To make up for this, i think there should be suppression effect that temporarily blinds the enemy if they're near the explosion.
If you've ever played BF3 then you know what i'm talking about |

Be careful what you wish for Ladwar
Lol anyway, i don't want Railguns and Fore Guns to completely blind other players, but i think they should at least make your screen somewhat blurry for 2-3 seconds. |

Rather than blind, add a dirt affect to the hud (I believe this is in Battlefield when near grenades)
Make it for Explosives (Grenades, Remotes, Missiles) and Railguns. Just an added affect rather than blindness. Also railgun kills are easy.. 30+ and a lot of dead RDVs in a single match. |

I think there should be a suppression effect while being fired at by an HMG, similar the the effect of being pinned down in ghost recon future soldier |

I agree with the dirt effect for Grenades & remote explosives, but larger weapons like Railguns and Forge guns should definitely have a much greater suppressive effect than that!
These weapons are supposed to be firing projectiles at supersonic speeds for goodness sake....

If you've ever played BF3 then you know what i'm talking about No. We have these suits to help reduce these issues. These suits are designed to run through some of the most chaotic situations. It do not see the suits I wear being effective in battle if they are not able to keep my vision from blurring just because a steel slug flew by my head at 10X the speed of sound.

Our suits are supposed to "Reduce" the effect of bullets too, but they're not completely impervious to them.
All i'm asking for is a small suppression effect to make up for the inaccuracy of these weapons. This is a very fair request in my opinion |

My best was 16/0 from a Large Rail Gun Turret. At least half were just infantry. I get head shots all the time with them and use them as counter sniping weapons as well. Even if I cannot get through the Hit Detection Bug the Splash Damage will take a Scout Suit down enough that the Sniper will pull back.
I also head shot with the Small Rail Gun Turret when mounted on the HAV. Not much use for it otherwise.
If you are having trouble it is probably the variable lead time with the unresponsive controls. They are supposed to Spool up in .3 seconds (time to charge) but it takes over a second for the DS3 controller to register a button press quite frequently. Net effect is a sluggish weapon at best.
The other piece of information that Large Turrets in general supply some amount of Splash Damage. I was on a Large Blaster today and killed two Reds sitting safely behind a container. Except for the Splash they were safe until they were dead.
No additional advantage is necessary. You need to get better or use a different weapon. |

Headshots? You're joking right?
Small Rail Gun turrets are terrible at hitting just about anything. Even when the vehicle is stationary, the projectile seems to shoot in the opposite direction that i'm aiming at. Small railguns hardly do any damage to installations / Vehicles even though their description says they're supposed to. They're basically useless if you ask me.
A suppression effect would bring a bit more balance to these turrets. |

Nope. Not kidding.
Head shots with Large and Small. Love em. Great animations too. No hate mail yet.
Moving Turrets all have problems it would seem. I prefer to use the SRG when sitting still. They are common on stock HAVs and if the driver is standing off sniping I can snipe infantry while waiting until we get closer to the engagement.
I requested a SRG that would charge like the Charged Sniper Rifle. It would make using them a lot more useful as their charge cycle is not all that consistent for me.
