There was a rumour going around that it was coming before fanfest, but a couple of dev comments in the forums, while not 100% confirmation, have implied that it'll be sometime after. No definitive dates from anyone, but I'm hoping sometime next month.

Dust 514, with a release date 5-14-13. Also, May 14th happens to be a Tuesday, and thats when all PS3 games get released because of the Store update that happens on Tuesdays

Been pretending in my head it's full of dust 514 fighters instead lol But that game is expensive if you want all the content so I don't want to recommend it um..... hmmmm There just aren't other games other there with the promise of real lost and conflct bleeeehhh there is no drug to replace what dust could be : ( BF3 you just keep getting more jets, there is no market, sense of loss, or massive customization behind it :/

However developers on IRC are having far more solid answers to certain things, for example we grilled CCP Wolfman on the new equipment mostly in particular the cloaking device and all of its intricacies of working. However I am not going to state anything about it until the blog. There was also the rumor that the war bage map will be updating :D though I am in the process of trying to confirm,.

Ofc, New Eden owns my ass, in some sense, but Defiance is interesting. I used to say to peeps 'what other game is out there where any other company could connect a game to something like New Eden?' Maybe WOW, but even that's deeply lacking. There's really nothing else, right? Wrong. The other way to build an immersive cross world connection is to do what Defiance is doing, and connect it to a TV show. It's kind of brilliant because the story-telling power of TV allows them to make up for lost time, so to speak. True, nothing out there has New Eden's complex, rich, deep player-driven history and economy - but with a pack of great writers and designers Trion/SyFy are taking a serious shot at bootstrapping a universe using all the storytelling tricks in the book. There's already a lot of lore written into the game which will get peeps up to speed for the tv series. The core shooter mechanics of the game are butter-smooth. It's third person. Normally I wouldn't be interested in the game, and I really don't watch TV anymore, but I'm playing the beta and will watch the show. It's interesting, in the same way the DUST-EVE connection is interesting.
