My assault is capable of doing so.
I once dropped without activating my inertia dampener (lag) and I was left with 5 armor. |

I think that you should fall faster when not using the dampner. That way there is a reason to wait to activate it. |

If possible have someone record video from ground. Then have some one else jump at the same time to see who can to the ground faster.
Maybe someone in a heavy suit...try out the old feather and hammer theory. |

Until you jump off a building thats not quite tall enough to activate your inertia dampener but just tall enough to finish you off, Its happened to me before when I have been surrounded I have jumped off buildings in a "tactical retreat" thinking it will activate and then splat. When that happens I think the "Medic 1879 fell and died" message should be replaced with "Medic 1879 was an idiot." or better yet "Medic 1879 believed he could fly, He was horribly wrong." |
