Lets look at Scout dropsuit description...
1. "The Scout dropsuit is a lightweight suit optimized for enhanced mobility. The enhanced mobility it provides makes up for its relatively low protection...": 100% true.
2. "Augmented joint servo motors give every movement extra speed and flexibility, while integrated friction and impact dampening materials reduce the overall sound signature": -10% signature, +10% sprint speed compare to assault... more like fail to me.
3. "Multi-spectrum stealth. This high-tech suit is coated in adaptive camouflage, a thin layer of bio-hermetic membranes interwoven with microscopic optical sensors that control millions of individual pigment ferro-crystals.": now in this part scientists (gallentians) has 100% epic fail :)
4. "And when combined with stealth technology modules, the scout suit is the obvious choice for infiltration, counter-espionage, and assassination.": Soon TM

The only anvantage on scout shotgunners is scanning range. With skill & modules he actualy can watch you behind wall, where you going, what you doing. Almost 50 meters passive scan range with lvl 3 Long Range Scanning & 2 Enchanced Range Amplifiers, compere to assault d.suit 15 meters... you just need pick up right time to attack, thats why you can't notice him. Though scanning & detection mechanics doesn't work properly... tested many many times.
And yes, it is Light Assault dropsuit, there is no Scouts in Dust 514 :) |

I didn't say it don't work, i said its not work properly or 100% every time as it should. |
