The dark cloud wrote:Installations usefull for a team with blueberrys? Supply depots hacking? Yeah right ive made the mistake once to leave a railgun installation alive. Just to find out that somebody sneaks up onto it and blow my tank up from behind. Oh and do you see that supply depot? Yes? Good cause there are 4 hostiles spamming AV grenades at me. In most cases turrets/supply depots are a bigger threat then most of the so called "AV" on the field.
-Turret installations: threat cause they can turn red at the worst time -supply depots: av grenade spam-o-mania
Cause of that i allways blow them up.
Mhm exactly this right here.

jpmannu wrote:...to you tankers, just for the greed of miserable 50WP . Get it in your noobish mind that supply depots are useful for both sides and need to be hacked, not destroyed.
AS a dedicated tank i'll always destroy enemy controlled supply depos, and ill explain why.
1) Unlimited AV nades suck
2) More points - more orbitals - they give me 60.
3) Forces them to choose AV and stick with it, in which point you get free kills
4) They dont want to go AV, in which point I get free kills
5) My tank is setup as AV, and as such other tanks dont scare me.
Might I suggest a Nanohive?
EDIT: Installations are worthless and within 3 seconds give me 120 wp
EDIT2: Turrets in "our" territory can and often have been hacked, and then you get a railgun shooting your weak ass out of tank blaster range because someone forgot to watch the backdoor ;-). Again, with a good tank on the field, your team has no use for turrets. |

I see your point about the supply depot and turrets but if you blow up ones in friendly territory first and then move on to the enemy side and then cry about lack of support its your own fault really.
I get it you dont like a supply depot or turret behind you as it can quickly become a tank killer but if you destroy it you deminsh friendly AV capacity and you need to now assume that role yourself and support other players. I am not saying you dont by any means you may be great HAVers for all I know. I cant explain it right but basically you neutralize your own team's capacity of AV you need to provide AV support with your tank to even that up or we can and probably will get stomped and at that point not many players are going to rush to the aid of the now besieged HAV that refused to help us in the first place. |

Most blueberrys won't help with Av or just use militia grade, I'd rather stop enemys from having spam access.
If a blueberry is an AV person then they won't care if they simply spawn as AV, its what they do. |

I suppose your right it just annoys me when a tanker destroys everything then later complains about it, I know why they do it and agree I just dont like it when they do it and refuse to help afterwards. Some do it like you say to stop enemy access but there are a few who do simply do it for the WP then go hide their tank behind a building in the redline they are the ones I hate I love having a good tanker on myside and if that means less turrets so be it with good tanker you dont usually need them anyway.
For example played a game with a tanker on my side he blew up all the turrets and supply depot's possible then helped us destory the enemy that guy gets +1 another game different tanker did the same blew up all turrets and depot's possible then drove back behind redline hid behind a building and sat there for the rest of the game he gets -1. |

Ya this is also why you see most tanks in ambush.
In skirmish AV will hide behind the redline and fire swarms or glitch through the mountain with assault forge.
Then you have the behind redline wp farming to get orbitals, which, of course they'll use on the tank.
In ambush tanks have it made, simply because 1 tank will help is squad suppress while his squad mates slay the enemy,
Av then becomes cqc and doesn't stand a chance, well there is always broken Av grenade spam. |

In some matches i like to leave behind remote explosive on the supply depot or installations. If my team cant have them no one can. |
