I have a few major complaints about the Bolas.
1. I drive a 750k ISK tank. I call in one usually every few games, and so obviously it stinks when one is blown up. But you know what is NOT COOL? When a bolas flies across the map, hits a building, Explodes, and drops your tank Right Into The Enemy Spawn So They Can Hack It.
Ever been killed with your own tank? Not very fun. I've had the above happen 2 times in the last week.
2. Improve the IQ of them. Me and my buddy both called in a tank. So the bolas drops mine and while it is leaving, another bolas drops a tank right ON TOP of my tank, before i have a chance to drive away. I explode, lose 750k instantly.
I lose about 750k-2.25 million ISK per DAY from Bolas Error. Is this really something that should happen CCP? I work hard for my ISK and tanks, i don't want to lose them because the thing that drops in my tank decides to blow it up.
Any other suggestions? That's my rant :P

It's funny but i rarely get screwed over by RDV's they seem to play favourites a bit. |

Same i just thought that they need to be something that can get specced into to make some better then the others. |

I think RDV's are fine the game is beginning to get stale but watching RDV's playing chicken with walls and losing is always worth a game. |

I'm pretty sure bojo the mighty actually rode a bolas out of the map once, but their fails are always amusing when its not your own vehicle being lost. |

That sounds awesome RDV surfing I may have to try that.
Oddly enough I have only had a few RDV's go rogue on me and its always just the free LAV anyway, but the only times I have died from them have been other people RDV's. For example a skirmish game on skim junction I believe, we had our null and all the middle ones. I died just as someone was hacking the null nearest our MCC so I respawn there run towards it the guy calls in a LAV I kill him before it arrives and start running to unhack the null the RDV drops the LAV then promptly flies into the null and lands on me. Yes it screwed up but I like to think it was avenging the poor red dot. Looked great on the killfeed aswell. |

Suggestion for Bolas/players:
Sequence when/where you call your vehicle. I GTFO and find a flat spot away from friendlies. Wait 5-10 seconds to get your RDV to sequence in without hitting each other. Yup they are brainless and stupid. Play Air Traffic Control (ATC) Hopefully that will reduce your cost/patience/blood pressure. |

Perhaps Bolas' could carry in our vehicles inside big, reinforced boxes that only the driver could open.
This could solve both the problem of friendly hijacking and damage to vehicles before they hit the ground, and damage to vehicles from other vehicles, etc. |

I do tanks and mine cost around 700kish. I don't feel like i lose tanks enough to justify ccp taking time from elsewhere to fix the RDVs. The RDVs need fixing but id rather have racial dropsuits/tanks/Planteary interaction/polish first. I think since open beta ive lost maybe 10 tanks. |

Man i wish i had your luck (x
I lose between 1-3 a day. Most days it's only 1 but some days i lose more then that.
I do want to see the other stuff but maybe just do a quick polish where dropping stuff on a tank can't kill it, or where if the bolas dies you have a longer period of time before it is able to be taken/hacked? |
