How do your corporations keep in touch with you? Plan deployments etc......
Just as as it seems that I just turn up and see if anyone is there, real hit and miss |

Same as gbghg (im going to spend ages thinking if that names means something or is just random letter to mess with my mind)
We are playing around with the idea of using a calendar that updates with CB dates/times/opponent, training classes date/time and other events. The idea being that players just check the calendar on the computer/mobile device, if they see an event they want to be apart of they know when to be online. It doesn't guarantee them entry to it but does improve their chances.
But the problem we are coming across is that those members invested enough in Dust to want such a thing, already know what's going on and when through corp mails. And those that are less invested seem unwilling to use out of game services to help them in game.
Id be interested in hearing any other ideas people are working with, especially those aimed at those less invested players. |

Forums, mumble, teamspeak, PSN, IRC, and some other texting services.
Dust allows you to create a private section for members of your corporation. I suggest starting there.
You might not always want to plan every battle, especially because you might get some for the conquest stuff coming out soon. I prefer the, "corp battle in 5min, first 8 to 'x' up go" approach. You might have to get an extra of something in, like if you get 8 tanks you'll exceed the vehicle limit, and you'll want someone who can press circle, but you can just go down the list :P. |
