Hello immortal mercenaries of New Eden, I require some helpful tips about my drop suits shields and armour, I have a reasonable amount of skill points to invest but I am little bit confused on which skills and modules to obtain. I am a frontline assault/ medic and having increased shields and amour will help increase my combat survivability on the battlefield.
Any help and tips regarding shields and armour will be most appreciated  |

shields good, armor bad.
If you want to go "medic" work on your logi suit.
If you want to assault, work on your assault dropsuit.
Make sure you have complex shield extenders. You need those for almost any suit and build. |

Get Field Mechanics to level 5 if you haven't already. This will give you 25% more armor for all of your dropsuits and vehicles and doesn't require a lot of SP. |

Good call on the field mechanics but he should aso really skill uo the shield contorll as it will do the same for your shields as field mechanics will do for his armour |

Arrmor isn't necessarily bad. Armor gives you a lot more hit points than shields do, but it slows you down. If you were to place just one ehanced or complex armor plate it wouldn't be that big a difference in movement speed and you'd take a lot more hits. But no more than one, where as with shields you're better off stacking them - which in the ends only gives about the same bonus as one armor plate anyways. |

I know the benafits of armour as I run heavy when im on the ground but I also know the benafits of a good armour and shield tank . Its allways best and never wasted when you skill up on both |
