Give dust another try. The beta is a bit clunky, mechanics are screwy, but it IMO is one of the best shooters ive player and up there with MAG for competitive team play.
In other words, suck a lot of E-**** so you can shoot at stuff without being insta killed |

There are going to be people who have 100-200 more HP than you (or if you made the bad choice of militia 300-400 more HP than you which is nearly impossible 1v1 at that point I agree), and if you can't figure out a way to beat them (superior aim or positioning, get the drop on them, or use explosives and lure them) perhaps the game isn't going to be fun for you.

Surely new players should be facing off against other new players? Atlleast to begin with, if anybody disagrees i would assume it's because you are a ***** and like playing easy mode. |
