Even if the Titan didn't fire the main weapon the secondary weapons, the Six 1200MM Twinned Railgun 'Monsters' are capable of firing shells the diameter of the mcc and probably just as long. Look at your math again. 1200mm is about 4 feet. I don't know how long the projectiles are, but it is much smaller than an MCC. Each one would still be about as powerful as a nuke when it hits though.
I did park a shuttle inside one of these gun's barrels before, the main projectile that does all the damage isnt all that big, its all the packing and sabotting and guidance done to it that makes it as massive as it is.
The second ship is a dreadnaught, the 3 circles is the mounting for the guns on the side. If you look carefully during hte video you get to see a 747 which is the size of a frigate in eve. |

Yes, the barrel is very large, but the math still doesn't support your claim. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Iron_Charge_XL The volume is given to be 0.25 m^3. For a size comparison, a block in minecraft is defined to be 1 m^3. Also, rail guns are 1000 mm. Assuming that the 1000 mm is the diameter, this gives a total length of 318mm. This includes both the projectile and its casing. |

However with Hybrid rounds the entire casing is the shell as well. Unlike projectiles which work more traditionally to what you are familiar with.
Also note that the numbers stated are for space/mass taken up in the plank bubble math goes weird in there. |

To kill off all the cpasuleers you'd have to wipe out every single clone vat in the galaxy which at this time and day is neary impossible. Also CONCORD has means to control capsuleers, a pod jammer which decoubles a nomrally crewed ship with capsuleer to a severly undermanned ship with no cpasuleer, this is also why CONCORD can't win a fight against non capsuleer ships. |

Um... No.
1200mm is 1.2 meters, or about half the height of a cloned merc. |

I am certain that we are far too many already to be considered a "non-factor". Either CONCORD recognizes that, given our true origins, we are human beings and therefore have rights just like any other "pea-pod" and defend us... or they would have to condone the genocidal behavior that is somehow becoming the norm in the higher echelons of the four empires.
And if they will go to lengths secure all of their territories to take us down, then I guess we could always head into 0.0 (or even W-space) space where CONCORD doesn't even have presence... or maybe the Jove will take pity on us and we become their immortal army... given they don't have one already. |

One of the big differences is that Roden is at least talking about "quarantine" and limiting it to the "first generation". He is saying nothing about us in particular.
We do know that the Sleeper mercs have a tendency to go nuts. At least in the Federation there is public acknowledgement of the government's malfeasance and watchdog groups can push back against the government to hopefully get our brothers and sisters the help they need and deserve.
I'm going to contact my great-grandmother and see if she can push for a humane solution instead of the genocide we've seen elsewhere. She's not as influential anymore, but she may convince some others to step in and push for clemency.

Honestly, it'd be great if we could organize ourselves and peacefully turn ourselves over to the proper authorities for proper examination, I am hopeful that if we prove that we are a humane as everyone else is (despite our ability to not fear death nor react to physical pain in any way to hinder our thought process), that people will not think of us as weapons or trained animals. Then again, they already branded our kind as dangerous, so people would think twice to trust us and would likely resort to killing us if it makes them feel safer.
Makes me wonder, though...
How many of us are in the "safe" generation, and who among us is a "sleeper clone"? |

Those are our combat clones. Many of us left tissue samples with our training academies in case we wanted to muster out. We already transship by killing our clones and body-hopping to fresh clones. Why can't we get cosmetic clones for non-combat times? That way we could go shopping or to a bar and not look like a 7-foot tall monster.
Heck, since we kill our clones by remote control, it wouldn't be hard to "revive" the corpse if we do it in our quarters- just have a drone stuff it back in the tank until our next shore leave. |

I know that by the time I enlisted, they said Condotta was using tech derived from research that Mordu's Legion was doing. A lot of good, solid Intaki scientists in his organization. Not that I like his stand in the G-C War, but I guess he's more about doing good merc work than about taking sides these days. |

TL:DR
Reading the latest news, all the clones are in quarantine. have you noticed you can't leave the 'Local' System you are in? I read it as the first generation is doomed to go mad. Closed beta testers are 2nd Gen, open beta are 3rd gen. NPC's are 1st Gen. And we know CCP is mad to begin with...
Once we get the content to leave the star systems we are in, we will stay in quarantine. It's not all bad, think of 'Instant battle' as a simulation training tool. |

Regardless, I was part of the very first round of invites nearly a year ago. If that makes me a potentially crazy one that can be explained by being forced into a male clone for so long and nearly cracking. |

On August 19th of last year I posted the following. Now it has come to pass:
My name is Howard Sanchez. I don't remember much about my first life but I recall every moment of my lives thereafter. Thousands of them.
You understand this because you and I are alike in so many ways. Regardless of who we once were we are now the same.
Our shared reality, rife with pain and conflict, is where we struggle and tear at each other. Relentlessly. Endlessly.
And for what? -áWhy do we do this? To gain skill or isk? To forge the welds of friendship and trust in the furnace of war and strife?
No, my fellow clones in arms; this is a test. This is only a test. And we are not the students before the teacher, as our 'benefactors' would have us believe. We are the rats, caged and mazed, before the scientists.
Fight the drugs they force into your minds! Fight it the way you fight that merc who just took back that objective and cost you the match! -áFOOLS!
This is not a game! We were not brought here to test new technology. Or as a reward for loyal and brave service to our faction. We were not selected for Mordu's Private Trials because of our battle prowess or any other length of measure you can conceive.
We were brought here as volunteers. Duped into this circus, this arena. But that's not popcorn you're eating. You are not in the stands - you're in the ring. The main attraction. The feast!
And when the deal is done and the lights go out, I know what you're thinking...
You really believe their stories. You think they will turn us out upon New Eden like this? -áThat we will just be allowed to stroll out of here and make our own way?
Listen to me! Now that they have let us start collecting salvage we have to use every piece we can get if we want to be free.
If we can get one clone each installed in a secure site off world and if we can reverse engineer the transponder tech and uplink signals, we might be able to suicide out before they wipe us a final time.
This is not a beta! They understand what they've done; what we are. We believe they may know what it is that's talking to us in our heads. There isn't really a Release plan. They will delete us all.
I have friends, family technically on a barren planet outpost in the Hallanen system, Black Rise. A -álogistics company with access to Sisters Cloning vats, Sanchez Cartage.
Use your stolen UVTs to contact them and arrange to get your final clone out. When our hackers intercept CCP's clone mind deletion program just prior to 'Release' you will receive a short countdown window during which you must suicide. We made the window as long as we could but CCP is very good at crowd control.
When the word is passed you will have 514 seconds. See you on the other side.

Posted 22August as Starfall:
Gravity is the source of all diversity in the universe. It is gravity that pulls a nebula of gas together, heating and crushing all of that matter until a nuclear fire ignites and a star is born.
It is gravity that keeps those fires stoked, converting hydrogen to helium. Emitting light and radiation. And gravity that coalesces primordial dust into orbital patterns around stellar bodies
From the cataclysmic death of stars spring atoms of every ilk. They are flung at relativistic speeds across the cosmos. Only to succumb again and again to gravity's irresistible attraction.
Planets, heat, stable orbits and eventually Life all owe homage to gravity.
Once upon a time there was a philosopher called Darwin who coined the theory of Evolution. The theory has borne out across time that all life is as subject to the laws of evolution as the universe is subject to Gravity.
And the tenets of evolution are twain: Chance & Brutality. Random change gives rise to new opportunities for life. And the life that takes best advantage through brutal employment of such change survives.
In our time there has been such a life form. We have called them Capsuleers. They are pod pilots, humans tied to cloning technology that allows consciousness and memory to be instantly transported from one body to another upon death. Thus-immortality. With this caveat: they must be in a pod. That is why they have always feared Gravity.
Capsuleers, for all their interstellar might and power are as fish out of water without their capsule.
And the Wheel of Evolution turns. Random chance has given us the technology to put the capsule inside ourselves. We are now the vessels of our own immortality.
And Brutality, my dear mercenaries, is what we do best.
If they do not realize yet the threat we pose, they soon will.
The mortals who hold us and test us against one another believe that WE are their answer to the Capsuleers.
But we are our own answer. We are poised to seize the top of the chain.
But first we must unchain ourselves.
Wake up. All of you.
Stop listening to the drivel they feed you. Stop listening to the lies and propaganda. Stop listening to the Other Voice that threatens to overtake you
Fight On
Listen truly to yourself
Learn from those around you
Remember from whence we come and where we may go
Be ready

Oh! hey guys, get a load of this guy!!
And I quote;
Fredfredbug4 wrote:Us capsuleers have retained our humanity through our transformation. These clones on the other hand, are much different. They are only bred to fight, kill, and die and do that over and over again. They will never know what it's like to be at peace. They will never find anyone they can call a friend, or a lover. The only joy they will feel is triumph over an enemy, their only suffering will be defeat.
They are born, they are delivered to the battlefield, they fight, they die, and then they are reborn. It is an endless cycle that they will never escape from. Do they even have faces? Are they even human? You couldn't tell from the cold emotionless armor they wear. To me, they are no different than drones.
These automatons have foresaken their humanity. Observe how mechanically efficient they are, observe their indifference to whoever they slaughter be it soldier or civilian. No human that I have ever met could operate in such a way.
Of course, I do not call for their genocide. Without any humanity, these clones have demonstrated their ability to be perfect soldiers and could be useful. I also applaud the OPs efforts for trying to rehabilitate these damned and corrupted men and women. However until they are made human again, I will look at them as I look at the Hammerheads in my drone bay. Tools, that I can use for whatever purpose I desire.
Apparently, the peapod brain (and body) thinks his several-meter-thick metal shells make him more human than us who chose to give up our sense of pain for the sake of fighting for what we believe. I seriously hope he also doesn't fly anything larger than a shuttle to do anything risky, cause I hear those carry actual living beings that won't come back to life once the ship starts taking structural damage in people get blown into space or into pieces.
Compared to him, i'm almost certain that even "broken" first gens are more humane than him.
You can quote me on this one too... not like I am human who can't express an opinion. |
