As a dedicated swarmer, I've run into a few situations lately that would have been great to have more range for both locking on and missile life, so I'm considering levelling up my light sharpshooter skill. Question is: does this skill affect the lock-on range, the missile life or both? |

I'm pretty sure light weapon sharpshooter doesn't affect Swarms in any way ... but I could be corrected I just can't notice any difference. |

Yes it should give the rockets longer range. The range on all weapons is simply a numerical value assigned to each weapon where after it travels that far it simply disappears. You can see this happening with rockets as well. The sharpshooter skill simply multiplies that number. I'm not 100% positive but if I had to bet I would say "Yes." A dev response would be nice.
I say just go into upgrading that skill, it's a good skill to have either way. |

i'm also a dedicated swarmer and yes sharpshooting does help alot. For the swarms it helps in a couple ways and seems to not just do the increase range.
1. Missiles will travel further 2. Missiles will last longer before they start to expire one by one. 3. the lockon range is slightly increased, but i don't thinks its by 5%. May not notice much of a difference between 1 lvl to the other, but there is a huge difference between sharpshooting 0 and 5
1 and 2 are really the same thing and 3 helps alot to further annoy redline mountain tank hiders or the ds that likes to use hide in the redzone. |

Whatn Pent'noir said.
Missile flight time is the big advantage you get here. Lock range doesn't increase by as much. |
