I have to agree with you on a few of these points. The open beta should have been postponed at least for 2 months, not really understanding the sell point, they did release a starter pack, but that was more for the new players. Matchmaking is a bit one sided....i think that the squads should be more evenly split between the teams, and the SP gap OFC. Hitting the top end gear is only easy for the people who grind out the SP and use the boosters 100% of the time. Dropship can be viable if you have a decent pilot(although they don't get near enough credit from the kills.), LAV's I don't know, I have seen LAV's take considerable punishment, they are supposed to be a secondary transport when a DS isn't available. While getting to the SP cap is one of the main goals, I find myself working with my corp to better our communication and teamwork.
When the main release comes, I have a theory(it very well could be wrong, but here goes). They are going to do a skill reset, not take away SP mind you, but just make it so you have to purchase the skills again and re-allocate your SP where you want it. My thinking is that they are going to seed all new skills and delete others. Unless they just refund the points in the deleted skills, like they did when they took away learning skills in EVE.
