Anyone have guesses on what the next build's name will be?
My guess is that is will be iterating on territory conflict, and possibly on drone warfare. So it will sort of be about us as mercs carving out a place for ourselves in the world of New Eden. The narrative about a possible genocide against drones could hint at the storyline advancement as well.

I've seen the word "Legacy" thrown around on the forums from time to time. I am not sure if that's the actual name, but it has a nice ring to it. |

Precursor = He that comes before (early attempt)
Codex = Tree trunk or Book (grey, heavy, clunky)
Chromosome = Colored bodies (new graphics, semi-procedural maps)
I'm gonna go with...
Manifest
A reference to "Manifest Destiny", a particular philosophy of expansionism that held that the conquest of a continent by pioneers was inevitable. As we are supposed to be getting both territorial warfare (district conquest) and a market, I think this is a fitting name.
In addition, "manifest" as a verb means "to show, demonstrate, make tangible or real", which is precisely what CCP should be doing with a Fanfest release. |

They've already had a build called "Replication", so that's out.
I'm leaning towards "Recombination" or "Manifest", both of which seem to fit the theme for different reasons. "Synthesis" is another logical one. |

DUST 514 represents coffee beans, New Eden is the hot water. Right now the beans are held above the water, but hopefully the next build will release them into the swirling solvent, creating a solution, an infusion, of unprecedented fragrance and delectability.
Could also be an indirect allusion to the necessity to stay up late playing DUST all night once all the new stuff comes out.
Or the analogy drawn between grinding coffee beans and grinding SP.
