Everytime I see this thread (or one like it) I think I'd LOVE to be able to quickly review my skills; fittings and mail right now (while working for example) so when I do get my brief window to actually play I can jump straight in to a game instead of faffing about for 15 minutes first.
So, I would love a VITA app, but if not why isn't there at least a Web site / portal online where I can do these things?! I know developing APIs and GUIs isn't easy, but it's not exactly rocket science, given the amount of time that has passed since we saw the Vita app demo! |

Pretty much the next time humans evolve into a different sub-species entirely is when the new Vita app will come into play. |

Let it have the capabilities to email through the in game client. I would love to have the ability now to email and check my email while I'm at work. |

I just have the one question: why vita and not iOS or android?
I know ccp has a partnership deal with sony but seriously, there's been companion apps for sony games (that are sponsored by Sony) on iOS devices. (I've seen the starhawk companion app for iOS) |

I hope they release the ps vita app soon. It would be good to have that app on my ps vita. It would be good if this update (uprising 1.7) when it is released, they release the ps vita app along side with the uprising 1.7 update. They announced about the ps vita app last year and still nothing. So when is it coming? |

I'm pretty firmly in the camp of the Dust NEOCOM on smartphones (iPhone and android) released in conjunction with the VITA version.
Bottom line: I reckon 95% of the current and future players have smartphones and would shell out $5 for a quality app. Having a NEOCOM for the VITA isn't going to drive me to get a $250 VITA. Not when I can do everything the VITA can do (and better) from my existing handheld devices. |
