What's the deal with players being able to ruin a match by killing their own team mates? I've seen a player go and commit suicide by holding hi grenade and running up to other team mates to kill them. That's 2 down on clone reserves because the game allows this. Also same player got into a vehicle and killed more team mates by impact. And the game counts the kills as part of his overall kill score! This should be addressed as matches can be sabotaged by players doing this deliberately.

If the game is close and we aren't down by much I'll attempt to continue fighting for my team by actually trying to go for objectives. But if half the blues cowardly remain in the redzone after I hack objectives or lose suits trying to actually turn stuff around, I get angry. If we are indeed down by a really insurmountable amount I'll go to the redline snipers and team kill them because they were the ones responsible for the loss. Unless you are farming 4-5 kills per minute as a sniper you are hurting the team. Your body is better taking fire and pushing the advance. I reserve the right to enrage my team for what they have done wrong. |

Thanks for the suggestion! Yes and jumping out of a LAV just before it runs into your team. I knew about LAVs.
Jumping over terrain on the right angle to land on someone is more fun though, because you can squish people without having to jump out and risk a lucky player turning and hijacking your LAV (I've stolen a nice gold-plated LAV like this once. Good times). |

Dropships can kill team members as well. A squad member was on a turret by C on Manus Peak when this team member (We'll call Dan) ran up and shot him a couple of times; maybe 10 seconds later I do a 360 to scan for enemies and by the time I could see the turret again there was a dropship parked right on top of where my squad member was standing (and I mean it was "like a glove", parking) and I hear him asking "What killed me, it just says I died". The pilot took off and Dan got on the turret.
I think Dan told the pilot to do it; so F you Dan and unknown DS pilot. |

It works both ways. The sad part is, we'll be too busy killing each other to worry about the enemy as they go on to cap the objectives and killing us while we kill ourselves because they don't fret over petty bs like that. |

Haha sweet I need to try these things. What im about to tell you is more of an accident than on purpose.
Any ways I had my LAV packed to the brim in an ambush game and I was driving down the main road and what do ya know? Another LAV packed to the brim is going the opposite direction on the same road well the noob didn't make any move to avoid me so it was up to me. I tried to turn but it wasn't enough.
We collided and both LAVs exploded killing all 3 people within my LAV (im included in this) and all 3 in his LAV died as well.
It was an epic tk it made me laugh like heck and feel like an idiot at the same time for not moving fast enough.:D |

Anyhow, the mechanics that allow TK should be hunted down from highsec public games, and be allowed on lowsec FW (with standings and reward hit) and nullsec (free for all). Alternately highsec TK should be concord watched: insta kick and clone death.
Now here's a thing I've been wondering: can you TK with remote explosive suicide? Should test for fun :) Friendly tank traps, killing afk dualtank heavies etc...

lol classic. I can see it now
This is the reason I carry AV nades 24/7 now... morons still try to run me over, so I just blow them up and continue my killing spree, until they get another LAV called in (if they're lucky)
but i agree too many dipsh$ts in this game to have FF on in all game modes |

You can thank Immobile Infantry's R&D Department for the grenade ganking, or #Dust321 as Kain Spero liked to called it.
It don't work, you have to actually die yourself for the damage to turn from "good" damage into "bad" damage, if your dead it's essentially damage that can kill any blue at all in it's radius.
We have a few more things in the pipline that could be fun but require some more testing. We outed this publically after a lot of internal testing about 3 weeks ago, i'm surprised it's taken this long for people to catch onto it.
It's also worth noting that if you kill an AFK farmer in the MCC they get booted from the game as they don't respawn and thus lose their SP for the match.
It's also worth noting that if you kill a friendly with a Grenade NOT A LAV and you get the -50 WP's for the kill, you also get the normal ISK you should get for killing them based on their suit type and gear costs etc so you can actually make quite a lot of ISK by killing idiots on your own team in full proto gear. |
