What works best against snipers, armour or shield? Ok, moving fast and staying in cover is best, but its really annoying when you take our your best tanked suit, and a sniper takes you out with one shot, and i can't even find the damn sniper he's like 5 miles away in the hills deep behind the red line. Usually I get some clue where they are, then I go and do them over.
Just wondering if a special anti sniper armour should play a part in this game. Maybe its called "High Velocity Kevlar Armour", and takes a huge chunk out of sniper damage. The downside is it would be quite hard to fit, or be very heavy and slow you down, or some other major compromise you have to make to fit it. |

BTW, thats a proto Assault suit I'm talking. Sniper kept taking me out with one shot from who knows where. |

That's what I thought, because I usually take a hit in a Type-A suit, and have enough health left to duck out of sight or run for cover. This guy was just nowhere to be seen, so must have been shooting from a real distance, I don't do much sniping is it hard to get a head shot from the other side of the map?
Just upgraded to the Proto suit, and I need to spend somet ime getting the fitting right I guess, only about 450 total HP at the moment. Still, thats 2 complex shield extenders, had far less on my Type-A. |

What do you think of the idea of sniper specific armour, or other protection, that comes with drawbacks of course. Worth pursuing or a waste of time? |
