Simple. Make the inside of MC a dead zone like the red line on the map. "You are cotractually obliged to enter combat", so if you don't get out of the MC in 20 seconds and join the dame, you're dead. Event better, kick them out of the battle alt...

Maybe this is already requested... Joined a skirmish, 1 second later, Victory! but no points because I didn't even get a chance to spawn in. Wouldn't it make more sense to not let players join games with less than some amount of time (50%) left?...
