I've seen lasers used alot more recently, especially on the map that the OP is posting about, because it is a great map for them. While this is a great headache for me when playing this map, I think its a good thing. There are 2 reasons for this IMO:
1. Variety is good, I was getting sick of dying only to GEKs
2. While myself (and most other PC corp. affiliated players) would argue specialization is key to success in DUst, being able to do things like pull out a laser for a specific map or terrain type, shows that in some cases and for some people specing into multiple things is viable as well. |

There is nothing in this game IMO that can't be bested with tactics or in other situations etc...sorry to thread hijack as the OP never mentioned the word nerf to my recollection, I blame Sentient Archon...its all his fault
