It's pretty frustrating when I always stick my neck out to go revive a teammate and they tap out either right when i get to them, or when I'm right in the open with nowhere to go.
Can there be a way to have team medics show up on the radar as a cross or something? or maybe add the ability to look around when you're down? |

Or make it like Battlefield. Only chance to get revived is by the respawn cool countdown. |

Or how about when you're down and a medic is in the vicinity, the camera goes from being stationary to following the medic around you. |

I agree, it's frustrating as a logi running in a pub match when blueberries don't have the patience for a revive, or they possibly don't know your on your way to them, remember, sometimes I gotta finish off the jerk that got the jump on you in the first place before I can get you back on your feet. At least as more and more people use costly gear they are waiting for the revive! |

That would be very useful, Sick of asking my self "is he anywhere near me or is he completely oblivious". Would be easy to implement as well. |

Adding a range indicator (and marking them in the minimap) would be much appreciated. |

There is a message displayed in red font when you'r down already. It goes something like that:
Stand by... triage unit detected in vicinity
The only improvement would be to make it appear in the center of the screen instead of top of the screen. With bigger font. Possibly blinking.
It would be more helpful to: 1) Display distance indicator beside syringe indicator (akin to distance displayed below objectives letters) to help triage more feasible. It is hard to determine where a logi can deliver help fastest. A present syringe indicator may be pointing to the fallen teammate waiting for help just around the corner or to somebody lying 200 meters away. No way to tell it now. Triage is meant to sort out who needs help most on the battlefield. Reliably and without a guesswork.
2) Paint fallen clones as hollow circles on the scanner HUD. To distinguish them from healthy ones.
Thanx for the OP :) |

Only one thing works in pub matches. Team Voice Enabled and a mic.
Talk them through it. Tell them to wait, tell The Blue at Beta you are nearby and to Hold On and Don't Die.
If I am playing Lone Wolf* that is what I do, switch to Team Voice and start teaching New Berries to become Blue Berries.
Works most of the time.
It is something to do when I have the Only mic in a full match. My primary function for this character is Sniper. I added Logi Bro and it has been a worthwhile addition. As a Sniper I focused mostly on my function while running Logi Bro the focus is more on the Team and its result. Now, I run Scout, Assault and Heavy as needed.

Thanx for the OP :) PS It is a nice feeling to be rezzed or repped by a logibro And the downed player would preferably have a distance indicator as well as the "nearby" notification which tells you nothing. If the Triage guy isn't moving after a few seconds, or if he's moving AWAY from you instead of coming closer, you know it's time to bleed out instead of waiting. Having them marked on the minimap would also be nice.
And when the screen is flashing red, red is the worst choice of text colour, so changing that would also be a good plan. |

The worst is being the Logi picking up an entire mob, repping like mad, and actually pushing forward with great success and being unlucky enough to go down once and have injektor equipped berries around with no Op4 and they all just keep rolling forward leaving you behind or just failing at picking you up.
Perhaps they couldn't find my body. I don't like h9ow the injektor disappears when you get right ontop of them and then I have to sort out all the berries on the map blocking visual or multiple dead bodies and having to ennie meenie miney moe. Somebody put aside your AR a second and pick up the Logi please. . . . he is your best friend. |

For situations like described above the best solution would be (as Romans used to say ):
Medice, cura te ipsum
Have suggested adding an "auto-injector" to the merc's playset in this thread: [Request]High slot fitted nanite autoinjector (for logis mainly) Would need to be properly balanced, so to not spoil the gameplay...
Back to topic:
Please, give us better visual indicator/incentive to decide: 1) if it is worth waiting for being served a triage while downed... or 2) if it is worth for logi to chase that particular syringe displayed in the HUD... |

To consolidate some of the good ideas in this thread into a cohesive package:
1) Add range number to Syringe icon. 2) Show downed mercs as hollow dots on radar. 3) Show range beside the GÇ£triage unit detected in vicinityGÇ¥ message. 4) Show people with Injectors as a dot with a white + in it on the radar.
STALKER 167 wrote:Or how about when you're down and a medic is in the vicinity, the camera goes from being stationary to following the medic around you. I like the idea, but you know this is going to generate hate mail when a medic fails to revive someone in an expensive fit. Gives lots of time for the victim to note the name of the closest medic who could have saved him. |

I think this is honestly one of the best threads on the forum. My wife was just asking about this yesterday as I am trying to get her to play. "How do I know if some one is going to revive me?" Also when she tried to play the role of medic with multiple bodies on the ground, she could not figure out who was a good guy and who was a bad. Needless to say, as she was picking each individual to revive, she died, and then here fellow players (two Logis) cleared the area and then blew right past her. |

1. Want to withdraw from a proposition to mark downed clones as hollow dots on the scanner (upper left corner in FPS mode). Hollow dot is used for player's position on the scanner. In the center of it
Downed clones are marked as syringes on the scanner already. One just have to workout a habit of looking at it
2. But "triage units in vicinity" should definitely have a distinct look on the scanner. - a hollow cross for logi with nanite only? - a blow torch for a logi with a repper only? - a combination of both for a logi with nanite and repper?
Distance indicator would be nice too. For logis going after mercs and for mercs waiting for a logis.
3. How to let know a downed merc i am on my way to rezz him? Maybe some locking mechanism on a syringe icon would help? Ex.:
Step 1) A logi looks up a closest syringe icon. After CCP Devs add distance indicator to the syringe icon of course.
Step 2) She/he starts to follow it ASAP.
Step 3) When it displays in front of her/him, he/she would pull nanite out and hold R1.
Step 4) This would lock onto the particular syringe icon (err... downed teammate) and put it into white square. It could look like objectives letters icons but in white color and with the syringe icon inside. To unlock simply hold R1 for a moment.
Step 5) When the downed merc is locked on she/he would get a message telling that a "logi name" is on her/his way to help... Allong with the tangible distance indicator of the logi...
Step 6) If the merc doesn't want to be rezzed she/he simply hits O to respawn and a logi gets his "target" unlocked. If a logi fails to help (or decides to unlock), a merc would get a message too. And would know a logi who failed her/him by name... |

Also, if a way point stating the distance (preferably in meters) could be marked for downed friendlies, that would be much obliged as well. One more point - I've noticed that the blue needle icon isn't always directly over top of the casualty. This makes it difficult to pin point downed friendlies when they are all piled up lol |
