Once upon a time, there was a game with a redline. Now, this redline is revered and feared in equal amounts. It kill and protects. It saves and destroys.
Today, I experienced what the EVE introduction terms fate conspiring with nature. Today, I called in my dropship. It deployed, and I waited happily. Then I saw the RDV start landing in the redline. I gulped, but no biggie. Once I got in and was in the air the redline would fall back.
Not quite what happened.
The RDV dropped my DS on its side, as well as in the redline. Tears poured from my eyes as I futilely tried to call an LAV to right it, but it melted before me, all 500k of it, before I had even got in it.
I think I've set some kind of record.
So on vehicle deployment:
At the very least, make vehicles either fall or their side inside the redline, or land upright behind the redline. Both is too much, and I seriously contemplated suicide and my first ever rage quit that game, and without my teams quick thinking and psychological therapy, I would've uninstalled dust and cried myself to sleep.

i was with Vyzion when this happen. it was on its side in the red zone to where we couldn't get in it. if no one cares i guess I'm the only one.
there was a open spot to where it could be called it. but it called between two buildings and we have to run to it. if you were to line up 4 tanks that how far it was to us. does the "sky crane" or whatever it called. has a detection marker so it knows where the buildings are at? and not hit them.... >.> |

It'll help solve others though, besides the things worthless it's called "Free kills" for a reason. and having to wait 2 minutes for my 500k isk dropship to deploy because of the swarm of free lav's is annoying |

funny post, I lost a 782k tank because I d/ced from a game after I stomped a bunch of kids plus a 50k drop suit and this is the second time I have lost a tank and drop suit from d/cs. Also had like 2 - 3 swarm on top of a super high up building, a dropship, and another swarm and forge gunner kicking me in the face in my tank at red line. No where to run no where to go I popped ^_^ |
